How to reset Parental Controls on 2DS?

How to turn off Parental Controls without a password?

I have a user on my network who can control the user's computer with remote administration tools.

The way they were configured, I cannot disable the software because it would make my computer unusable for other users.

When he wants to use the remote administration tool he enters his password and then "Turn Off Parental Controls" in the right-click menu. This program works perfectly when you enter your password and then hit "Turn Off Parental Controls". However when I use the user's login ID and password, it keeps the Parental Controls on.

How can I disable the Parental Controls with just the user's login ID and password? Re: ? I have not had that issue at all. And the user is very savvy.

In fact when the user was set up I had to ask him if it was ok to do the same thing. It was the only way he could turn on/off the parental controls. If it was a password protected one, it would lock out the admin and force me to unlock it and then lock it again. There was no way around it for me.

We've had this issue with a few different users as well. The problem we've run into is that the machine will be unusable while it is locked down (as it should). You are correct in that the password does not allow the user to modify the settings, but the machine is also in a locked down state and unable to run any software.

At that point, the end-user should contact the System Administrator to let them know the computer is disabled so that they can reset the lockout settings to allow the user to modify their system settings.

How to reset Parental Controls on 2DS?

I don't know what happened, but I lost all my parental controls.

How to get them back? I don't remember having logged off this game on the Wii U console. I just started it up and the system is asking me to log in my Nintendo account.

How can I reset this? How can I log back in? EDIT: This game was installed on the SD card and I have no SD card or SD card adapter. It would be helpful to know if your parents are logged into their Nintendo accounts as well. Try to use these methods. If one fails, come back and post an updated set of troubleshooting steps.

NOTE: Please be patient as it can take several hours for Nintendo to provide this information. How do I reset my Nintendo Parental Controls without a PIN?

I would like to use the Nintendo Parental Controls function of my Wii.

After entering my user name and password it will take me into the Parental Controls menu. After selecting the account which I want to reset and clicking OK, I do not have a pin number for this account. My account has been used for years without the need to enter a PIN. The new Wii U system allows you to enter a password. Can anyone explain how I get past the password/PIN problem? I can't find any help on the web. The only way I found was to go into Settings and edit settings myself by going into the parental controls and then the last setting there says "Parental control PIN code". I go into that area and put in my user name but it doesn't work. I have the PIN for another account in the same series as mine but it doesn't work for mine.

Re: ? As your friend has said, you just have to add another Account with the parent controls you wish to use. Then when you launch the Wii, and enter your user name and password, you should be able to access the parental controls, and select that account.

This can all be done from the Wii's Settings Screen, or if you have a third party USB keyboard, the parental controls can also be accessed from that too. Originally Posted by LumpyDrew.
