How do I install an older version of Netflix on my Android?

The latest version of the Netflix app for Android is 6.

0 (Mountain View). I want to install a previous version, but when I look at the version history of Netflix it's gone from 4.9.17 to 6.

It could be any of your root caused.you just said "I have installed an older version of Android", while your phone has probably either Oreo or 8.3. You might as well be asking how to install Windows 8 on Android.

The phone has 8. It's an LG G5. Should I go ahead and install the Netflix app from another source? Maybe I should just downgrade it all the way to 4.17 and then the version will work fine?
No need to downgrade. All you need is apk installer to download the APK file.

If you're not willing to downgrade your OS version to 4.17 you're stuck on 6.

I think I'd better stay on 6.0 until I figure out what's causing this problem.

Should I be worried about any security risk if I remain on 6. Also, what if I uninstall Netflix altogether? Will that break any of my other apps or settings or something?

Why Netflix is not downloading?

A Netflix user of around 6 or 7 years of usage has experienced problems downloading the .

M3u8 file containing the list of new movies, shows and episodes each week. Netflix has not offered a clear answer to the problem and just keep on saying We're working on it. This is not acceptable.

I think everyone would love to have everything available at one place where all the content can be stored. So what is happening with this issue? As I mentioned in my previous article, for every new movie/episode, new m3u8 or playlist has to be generated and uploaded to our internet and then only that .m3u8 file will be made available on your website and there are multiple ways to make the .m3u8 file, either they will update the m3u8 files directly through their API (recommend) or there will be lots of third party sites which have a .m3u8 file generator where you can download it and then you have to manually upload it. Even though Netflix is saying that their new updates will take 7 days, its just been 2 weeks since I downloaded my last m3u8 file and I still don't have the .m3u8 files downloaded. The reason why I am saying this is that if Netflix says that they fixed this issue 2 weeks ago and you do not have any issue with the .m3u8 file and they are saying that the new .m3u8 files are available now, then it's clearly not possible. So what really needs to be done here?

The reason behind my analysis is that as long as Netflix is maintaining that everytime they release a new content in the .m3u8 format, every user should have the content available immediately. This is no longer a reason to delay as the majority of the people who use Netflix is in the USA or in Europe or in some other regions where Netflix has limited access to the region where their servers and storage centers are placed, which means that these customers have the worst case scenario from Netflix's perspective as they are paying monthly fees in order to have all the content and not having it, is what's creating this situation for them.

What we need is for Netflix to provide the new updates and also provide the ability to download all these new content for all the users at once.
