Can I install mobile APK on TV?

I am running OnePlus 6. I can install mobile APKs on it if it was unroot. I can use the Android file manager, Donator and Wondershare tools and they can download and install but it will not launch. Googleplay movies also installs but no video. Netflix, Vudu and Kodi do not. This leads me to believe it is not really installing or a problem with one of the above. Most of them just barely get to the screen that says it is installing. Is there every a way to install them

I am running OnePlus 6. Is there every a way to install them Re: Can I install mobile APK on TV? Both Kazu and CobaltPop have addressed this a bit already in the thread. Quick review: They have issues launching non-Play Store APKs from S-OFF devices (OnePlus 6, OnePlus 6T) using the stock vanilla Android File managers. That's mostly because of conflicting permissions with so many of them.

On top of that, they won't become S-OFF in the first place. Play Store requires GPS, Google Play uses location permissions, which you can turn off, but they'd still be a bit slow to install files (unless you bumped your RAM to the max via Union Jack).

You might see the older files in older servers a bit on Kindle, Amazon and probably Daisy, but Amazon and Amazon Prime are intermittently having issues pushing apps to the store (which, on those things, is pretty fair since it's still tied to phone). They are 100% compatible with the (already S-OFF) old Android File Manager and APK Mirror versions. Thanks for the information. I watched some install with the older zip files if that is the final program that will replace mobile.
