How to run Windows on Chromebook without Linux?
How?
A friend of mine who is a professional photographer has finally decided to buy a nice laptop. He wanted me to help him out with Chrome OS, but for some reasons I failed to make it happen. And he wanted me to be a real Windows Pro (with Windows Insider) because the camera software only runs with an account of Windows Insider. I had my own plans to buy an HP Chromebook 15, but now my friend is trying to convert me.
I bought his phone and I'm going to replace it with a new phone from Motorola at the end of next week. But I'll be sure to get him a Chromebook 15. Well, not a real Chromebook because I haven't heard anything yet from Motorola. It should ship by mid-June. I just have to be sure it works with Android apps too. It sounds crazy because Google was supposed to work on that back in 2026 with Windows RT. The new Nexus is supposed to be running a new version of Android and Windows RT is no longer supported.
Since my friend is a professional photographer, he uses Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop quite a bit. He is an extremely happy user of my MacBook Pro with MacOS installed. Now I have to take that away from him because that piece of shit Dell and Lenovo is so proud of its shitty Chromebooks doesn't support MacOS and Linux. Well, my friend can't use Adobe's applications without an account with Windows Insider. That's just the truth, especially with the new update on the way and the new version of Windows will come with better support for Android applications (and iOS! But you just don't need Linux to run Windows on a Chromebook with ChromeOS.
I tried to explain that to my friend, but he didn't agree. I couldn't go with him to his camera shop because they would have me arrested for tampering with their equipment. There's a chance they might report me to the law enforcement because I have to install Windows on the device or risk being in danger of breaking copyright.
I mean, what I explained makes sense, but it's just that we can run Windows in ChromeOS using Linux. So why can't I install a Linux distribution and use both Windows and Ubuntu at the same time?
How do I install Windows 10 on my Chromebook for free?
I've been using a Samsung Chromebook for just over two years and am really starting to like it. But, I have to admit, the biggest drawback is that I'm not able to run any desktop programs (eg Photoshop) or even install Windows on a separate partition.
With the recent release of the new Windows 10, it is no longer possible to install Windows 8.1 on a Chromebook. At this time, there are no officially supported methods for installing the new Windows 10 on a Chromebook. However, since you are using a Chromebook, you are still able to use Chrome OS. Windows 10 is only a couple months old, so it might be a while before anyone finds a way to install the new OS on a Chromebook. If you want to try it out, just take a chance and hope it works. I'd love to hear if you have succeeded!
The best way to install Windows 10 on your Chromebook without paying is to use Windows 7 or 8 as your base. You can then use a bootable USB to copy the files to a flash drive, then boot the USB to install the files. While this does require a separate computer, it will work for most people.
I have tried running winPE on my chromebook and it does not work. The laptop cannot boot from USB.
Here is a link to the winPE page for my model: If you have successfully installed it on your laptop then please tell me how you did it. My Chromebook is HP 15 N835US.I purchased it in November and it has Windows 7 on it.However when I put in a USB (from a friend) and turn it on it just keeps loading and never turns on.I don't know what to do, it was working fine until I put the USB in.I don't know what to do to get it to work.
Can Windows 10 be added to a Chromebook?
I use a Chromebook for most of my computing needs.
However, I have a few programs that I can't get to run on the Chromebook, and I would love to be able to run those on my Windows laptop. I know there is some incompatibility with the two operating systems, but is there a way to get Windows 10 on a Chromebook?
Re: ? I've been using ChromeOS with Ubuntu via Crouton for a couple of years now. Works great for me.
Unfortunately, not all Linux software works well with Google's Linux support. A quick search for "Linux" in Google Play will show you what I mean. If you want to get all the big names, you're going to have to use Crouton.

With the Windows Store, it's a different story. You can install any program you want, whether or not it's compatible with the Chromebook.
Can you create a Windows bootable USB on Chromebook?
I have a Samsung Series 5 Chromebook and I want to create a bootable USB of Windows 7 and I am not able to find anything for this. Has anybody tried this before? Answer:Can you create a Windows bootable USB on Chromebook? Thank you for writing in to us. Samsung is a big supporter of Windows as an operating system for their devices and you can download a version of Windows on your Chrome OS device from the Samsung website by simply clicking here: Then plug your computer into the TV using the supplied cable, the power button should turn orange then you will need to go through the on screen instructions for your TV. I have never had a problem with this.
The process has been greatly streamlined as of late, you will have the option to download the ISO directly to your computer and you will be presented with a list of apps you can use to perform the boot process. I have always done this on my Macbook Air and it worked just fine, but for some reason my new Samsung doesn't have a CD/DVD drive so you'll need to find an external device. Hi there! I was wondering if you could create a bootable USB for the Samsung series 3 Chromebook, and which programs you can use? Also, I have a Samsung Chromebook 2 and I was thinking of converting it into a mini-laptop, but I have never created a bootable USB on my device. Is it possible to do it on the Chromebook 2? Thank you! P. Sorry if these questions are too basic. I am currently a newbie here!
Good luck. You can either buy the Windows 8 laptop (which has the option to load Windows 7/8 on it) or download the ISO from Microsoft (this has a Windows 7 option). Alternatively you can download the Windows ISO directly from the Samsung website by clicking here: This is assuming that your computer is capable of running a Windows Operating System. If your computer is older than 4 years old you might want to consider buying a Windows 8 laptop instead of converting your Chromebook 2. The Windows 8 software is also more up to date and compatible with most things.
