Should I install iOS 18 public beta?

As per the article above, is there a point installing public beta? Is there an actual problem? It seems from the article that it is just a way to find bugs so I guess I should wait to install it officially when the release date is known. This should be a bit more clear now: When there's an actual problem (a bug) then there's a reason for waiting for the release because a public beta will provide no benefit to you. There's also no need to upgrade your phone if you're fine with the current version and if you're not then it's better to wait until the official release. I've been updating to all iOS releases since 9.1, and have never been on the public beta stage, and I can honestly say that there's never been an issue that I needed to upgrade my phone because of some bug that was fixed in a beta version. You're much better off doing a backup and waiting for the official release.

The only time I'd want to install the public beta would be if I had an iPhone 7s or later model which does not support iOS 13's Night Shift feature. But that's why I'd wait for the official release anyway. I'm on iPhone 8s Plus running iOS 13. No Night Shift option and I don't want to try it out because Apple made a mistake in not making Night Shift options for models before iPhone 8 or 8+ I have 4-6 apps running on each of my devices, so a public beta would eat up space that I don't have. You can disable public betas on the Developer Portal if you wish, but I think I'm still good by just leaving them on unless they're really needed.
