How do I join WhatsApp beta business?

Do beta testers get paid?

Yes!

(And sometimes they get free stuff too.)

That is why our community exists. It's all of us working together to make sure that the app we're developing works, works really well and is really high quality.

Do beta testers make you money? This is very difficult to predict because a beta test is a great use case for a customer who is very involved in the development process, but who doesn't have to pay for your app. In fact, you can actually build a beta test into the development costs! The reason why we built this community of beta testers for developers (and non-developers) to collaborate was because beta testing gives us a lot of visibility and feedback from real users which lets us change our ideas and our product for the better. As developers, the thing we find hardest is to ask and listen. That's why there are over 150 people participating in this community of BetaTestersBeta - who will be willing to give feedback about the app.

How to run beta tests. You are able to beta test your own apps within Google Play by signing up with Google Accounts and creating a 'Google group'. After you have set up that you are ready to try it out.

Then go to the Play Store on your computer or phone. Click on My apps at the top right corner and choose the Google group of your beta tester.

In the 'beta testing on Google Play' section at the bottom on your left hand side, you see a drop down list called Choose a Beta test topic . Choose 'Your app'.

When you are ready to start a beta test for your app, click on the button which says Start beta test. It won't appear if you don't have a device attached.

We do not recommend starting a beta test of your beta on your primary computer/phone. Instead test out the app on different devices/smartphone simulators which are listed under 'Testing'.

How to set up a beta test app. What can beta testers actually do as beta testers? Our community of beta testers can log issues which are listed as comments in the app. So as a developer, you need to answer those questions.
