How to share location for more than 1 day?
I have an app that has a checkin feature.
It sends the users location when they checkin.
I want to be able to share their location for more than one day. But I am not sure how to do it. I have searched everywhere but no answer. Thanks. You can use the "sharing permissions". There is an example at this link. Specifically for your case, you would do something like this. SharingUtils.requestReadContacts(this, "com.package", "Your Permission String");
The link will give you a sample of the permission string for the "com.
Why is location sharing only 1 day?

I am in a state with one weekends and another with no weekend. This also could be my iPhone's only way to get an iOS upgrade because my older iPhone I have is an iPhone 3g and this feature on my older iPhone was disabled. It may not be the same with the new iPads.
