I have a question. I realize that this is a bit of a new concept to some of you but we're talking about the cloud, not how to manage my hard drive. I don't have many pictures or movies on my computer, just one big folder that has all my photos in it. The other day I was deleting photos from that folder because I was getting very low on space and I wanted to know if I could access those photos via my phone or an app on my phone.

Google One is telling me that I can not access those photos because I'm using too much space. However, the amount of space I'm using right now is less than half of what I'm using on Google One. I don't understand how switching to Google One would cost me more space than it is already giving me at the moment.

My point is that I see nothing wrong with this. I'm using too much space, I'm not happy with the way it is being used. I could easily add an extra gig of storage space to my Google One account so that I can keep the photos where I want them.

This is all in reference to the new Google Cloud Storage solution and not the original question. I understand that Google One offers more storage space than I am currently using but it does not mean that I have to move to Google One. I could simply add another gig of space and not move.
