Is there a better app than Rave?

What is the Rave app used for?

Rave is a smart, powerful and easy way to manage all your finances across apps including: Mint.

Com, Apple Pay, and PayPal. It will also let you quickly and easily send payments without any hassle. You can even sync with your favorite bank apps including Venmo or Apple Pay, and make changes on the go with push notifications.

Why not just use Google Payments? Using Google Payments requires signing up for a google account, which many people are already logged into. Rave is the only app that currently allows one-time payment initiation on the web without requiring signing up for a google account.

How do I create an account? To create an account or login, click on the "Sign In" tab at the top right of the screen. Clicking on "Sign in with Google" will automatically prompt you to create a google account if you do not have one.

Why am I not seeing my financials? Depending on your browser, some features may only be available when using a Google account. You can only log in to Rave with a Google account when you visit the Rave website from the Google Chrome app. The Google Chrome app should not be launched in your system tray if you want to use Rave as your main Google Chrome app. (If the Google Chrome app is already running, close it out, go to System Settings > Notifications, and toggle off "Show notifications in Google Chrome", then restart Rave.) If that does not work, start a new profile. (If the Google Chrome app is already running, close it out, go to System Settings > Notifications, and toggle off "Show notifications in Google Chrome", then restart Rave.

When doing so, go to your user profile under Profile & Settings. Select Settings, Payment methods. Click Advanced and choose No Google Account from the drop-down menu. You will now have access to save up to 12 different payees and view your transactions by payee.

Make sure to update to the latest Rave app. The current version is 1.0.3.

What problems are you trying to solve?

How will the app solve these problems? Does the app create new problems that should be considered? Is the value proposition convincing? Can you explain your target user's pain and how this app will help them with it? Why would the target user buy your product? What is the app's USP and why will people use it? Will people use your app or not? Would they pay for it? Would they recommend it to others? Why or why not? What is missing or difficult to implement that could enhance user experience and create an additional advantage over competitors? Good start. This app looks like a lot of work, but there's no denying the value of getting things up on the app store as early as possible. With all the time, money, and effort that goes into launching an app, there's little time to waste trying to figure out what is and isn't possible. Plus, even if you try to get rejected, all the time spent on it will have a positive impact on your portfolio of apps, if nothing else.

Also, the fact that you've taken the time to research the legal side makes me think you'll be aware of what you can (and can't) do with the code. Good stuff. The app really does look like a great way to promote your local music scene and discover what's happening in the area. If that's the goal, you're on the right track.

But if you are looking for other users, then you need to be more explicit about it and focus on the real potential of your app. You say "create a network to enable fans to create and develop a thriving community." And yet you talk about social events, promotions, gigs, etc. And make it sound like this is a community service.

What is your value proposition? You say the goal is to "promote local music and artists." But without any details about how you see the app supporting that, it's hard to evaluate that. It seems like you're looking for a one-size-fits-all solution. You're missing a lot of opportunities here.

You need to think about the people who will be using this app.

I want to install Rave on my iPhone 5S, but I was wondering if there's a better app than Rave out there?
