Is Samsung Internet safer than Chrome?
Samsung Internet has been around for a while, but it's only just been making a big push into the Windows market.
I've been using it on my T480 Chromebook for a while now, and since then I've come to really like it. It's a lot more efficient than Chrome, at least for the average web user. While it's pretty easy to make the jump, I'm curious if anyone is actually using this instead of Chrome.
Re: Samsung Internet safer than Chrome? There's an issue with your version of Samsung Internet. The problem, for me anyway, is that it tries to go to the Samsung Account log in. Once you're logged in it's nice and all, but you have to go through the whole setup thing again.
Myself, I don't trust anything that comes out of Samsung (I've owned 2 Chromebooks and 3 iPads over the past 6 months and the one thing I've noticed about all of them is their ability to not only track your every move but also make decisions for you based on the data you provide. I've used both Chrome and Samsung, but so far I like the privacy settings on Samsung better. Google does track a little more because they track your use of Chrome across your devices. However, I think Samsung is pretty clear about the types of things they are tracking, and it doesn't seem like it's all that invasive, just a little creepy. The fact that it uses Samsung's own OS means that the OS is already doing that stuff behind the scenes anyway.

Is Samsung Internet available for PC?
I use my PC at home, and it has an Android tablet connected to it.
I am able to install the Samsung Internet app on the tablet, but not on the PC. I'm not sure why that is.
I have been using the Samsung Internet app for some time now. It works fine on my Android phone (Galaxy S4) but doesn't work on my PC (HP PC running Windows 7). The latest version of the Samsung Internet app for Android is now up to version 4.0, so I'm wondering if this has something to do with the issue. Is anyone else having this problem?
I am having a similar issue with Samsung Internet on my PC. My friend has the app on his PC and he can log in but it does not show his PC's IP address. It will only accept his mobile device. Any thoughts?
Same here. The application will work fine if I log in from my phone, but not from my laptop. I can't get my computer to accept the connection, even though I have logged in from my phone and it works fine. I have Samsung Internet 3.3 on my laptop.
I have a SGH-I777. I was using the samsung app to surf on the net. But I can't surf on the net at all. So, I was thinking of doing it through a software. But I can't find a program that can support Samsung app. Please help.
I have the same problem. I'm able to connect to the internet and login with my cell phone. But when I try to use my laptop, the Samsung Internet fails to connect and gives an error Access Denied. I have an HP Laptop with Windows 7 and I use Samsung Galaxy S2 with Android OS 2. I'm really frustrated and tired.

How can I use my Samsung mobile Internet on my PC?
The Internet connection on my Samsung phone gets disconnected often, how can I transfer files to my PC with my Samsung phone?
If you are using the wireless internet, please remember that your phone's data plan is only for phone calls and SMS. If you need to use the internet on your computer, you will need a data plan that allows you to use the internet on your phone.
Please choose the right data plan according to your needs. You can use the file manager or data explorer to transfer data, pictures, videos, and games between the Samsung phone and the computer. After transferring data or games from your phone to your PC, we recommend you to back up all the data on your phone. If you do not back up, any damage or loss of data will be very difficult to recover. I cannot find the data of my phone on the computer. Some phones like Samsung come with a specific function called Data Migration. If you are using the mobile data on the phone, it will be easier for you to transfer data from your phone to your computer. Please use the "Data Migration" function on your phone to migrate data. If it fails, please contact your mobile phone operator to get further instructions.
