How do I fix Disney+ not available in my region?

I was going to order a Disney World Magic Your Way book for myself, but I don't see it available in my region.

I live in Illinois and we don't have a Disney store here. Is there a way I can get the book?

When you go to the Magic Your Way page for any product, there is an "Add To Cart" button. Click it and it should add the item to your cart. You'll then be able to checkout and pick up your book.

If you need to, you can call the Disney Store and ask them to place a special order for you.

Why can't I get Disney Plus on my PS5?

I've been trying to get Disney Plus on my PS5 since it's available and every time, the TV app shows as a sign in option only with the Amazon app.

The sign up is easy if that's the only option. But the PS app says: "no access to content or services". And I can't sign in to the Netflix app either. Help?

That happens because Netflix is on the Google Play Store, and Netflix is the only thing that's listed as an Amazon app, as a result of some kind of partnership or deal. But it's just the one reason for why Disney Plus isn't showing up. You can use the Amazon app to sign in to another app or get Disney on Roku, but not the Apple TV or PS5.

It sucks, and I can't think of a better solution outside of making Netflix, Google and YouTube apps. It's like the biggest wall in our living room, even more so than having no wifi.e. I have a feeling this won't go away either, Netflix is too powerful in their partnership with Sony, Apple and Google.

Update: it turns out that's not how Google Play works. If you look at the first couple items in Google Play, Disney Plus is the third. The way it's supposed to work is the App you want is the most popular. As I said above, Disney Plus is the third option, not fourth. Even more confusing is that Netflix isn't even close to being the most used app in the Play Store. YouTube has over 30 times as many users in its Play Store listing, for example.

I've tried the solution of removing Disney Plus from Google and re-adding it, and then it appears in the same spot, but that's when you select it, you should just see this screen (screen captured below): The TV app is the second one in the Google Play listing. The first and the last are all from Amazon. So the Play store listings don't do anything. But the TV app (and Disney Plus) is the second one in the list. So the only way to have Disney Plus appear on your PS5 is to turn off the ability to sign into Google Play games. That option is in Settings-> My Devices.
