How do I change my location on Facebook Dating with VPN?
My girlfriend has had her location changed on Facebook dating with the use of anonymous VPN to a different location. I don't understand what to do. What is the correct way to change her location back to our local area?
We both live in the same city. She lives with me. I have used the Facebook Dating app to meet women and want her to see my profile at her old location. I have the same IP address and she has changed it to my profile. How do I get her back to her original location?
If I use my own VPN service or the one provided by Facebook how do I reverse the change? If I can't figure out the right VPN, do you think there's an easy way to change her settings on the Facebook app to make her see my profile at the location were at before? ? Facebook uses your public IP address to match you up with other members based on your zip code, city, age, etc. Your girlfriend probably set your location to her town, and the matching algorithm found that your IP matches hers. So when you connect using her IP address, Facebook will show you as being in her town. This is not an error - just how Facebook works.
The only way to stop this from happening is to stop using Facebook and use another service. It is also possible to set your location manually, but that doesn't change the fact that she changed it to begin with.
If she still wants to keep talking with you, she must manually change your location back to where you live in the city where she was located when you created your profile. Thanks for all the information. I just don't get it - why did she change it in the first place? It seems if she wants to see my profile when I'm in her town, she should just change it back to our local area, and that's it. If you know the right VPN method to change back the location on Facebook Dating, please tell us how to do it.
