How do I install Google Play apps on my Huawei?
We have already talked about How do I update my Huawei to the Google Play Store?
But what about if I want to install Apps that I've purchased from Google Play directly on my Huawei device? The process should be very simple, but sadly isn't so. There isn't an official method or a quick process to do so, instead we have to take many manual steps to achieve what seems to be a very simple process. We had actually tried quite a few manual solutions to try and find some way to get to install them, but ended up only getting confused and stuck in a weird limbo state of installing on the phone then being asked to put it on Google Play. Here are the steps we had followed in our attempt to install these apps:
Download and extract them to your SD card. We found one version of the game I had couldn't download was the Google Play version so we used their download page to download their APKs. Download Installers. Install it with your Huawei.e. Start the app and click Install for all your apps (that don't already have Installs). Go to File>Transfer to move the .APK files that are in your SD Card into Installer's App folder. That's it! All installed, go to your list of downloads and click to launch Game X. Done!
But you cannot just grab the game you have bought direct from Google Play, as there is no install option, so this isn't really feasible as a simple solution. Instead you need to go through many manual steps just to move them into the right folders. It works, but it is really annoying that we can't just install a paid app from a store without it having to deal with all these manual steps. As an aside, you must install this "App" first before trying to install any paid apps, otherwise you won't be able to install them due to not allowing the installation without first clicking "Yes" in the disclaimer. Also, these paid apps will not show in the Play Store or as a download on other devices as it is all done manually via this method.
Manual Step 1: Downloading & Extracting APKs to SD Card. As always, the method below shows which apps will need to be installed manually and which won't have any issues at all. We will install the APK's that are shown on the screenshot, as that is all we are after.
How do I update apps on Huawei without Google Play?
I have a Huawei Honor 7. It's in China, which means it uses the EMUI 5.0 skin, which comes with a Google version of Android and no Google Play. I'm using CM13 Nightly. How do I update apps like the Play Store? It seems like I can't even go to market to download/install anything.
I'm currently downloading an app called App Manager, but there are two problems with it. 1) I don't have Google Play Store, and 2) it says "This app doesn't require Google Play Service". So. How do I update apps on my phone?
That's a good question, but I'm not sure what you mean. What are you trying to do? Pete HMay 19 '14 at 16:31. 1
Thanks for the answer, Pete. I'm trying to use it to install the Google Play Store, but the app manager says that this app doesn't require Google Play Service. I'm trying to figure out how to get it installed.

If that's all you're trying to do (install Google Play), I wouldn't bother. There are many apps that give you a full-featured Play Store. The only one I've seen for phones running stock Android is TTS Play Store.
Pete HMay 19 '14 at 17:18. Thanks for the answer, Pete. I've already tried the TTS Play Store, and it didn't work for me. I just want to download apps and run them. Thanks again!
WesMay 19 '14 at 17:40. Google Play is part of the Google Apps, which comes with your device. And you can install Google Apps from other app stores. I don't see why the Huawei doesn't have it.

The Huawei has its own app store where they sell their own applications and games. These apps can not be updated on a computer but on the phone. To get around this you have to root the phone and then add a file in /system called .googleplaystore.
Does Huawei support the Google Play Store?
Huawei has yet to release a single device with Google Play.
However, it has partnered with Google to produce an Android Oreo custom ROM called EMUI 8.0 for the P30 Pro. The company had also previously confirmed the existence of several Google apps on its mobile devices, including Google Play Services and YouTube Music.
When do you expect Huawei to release the first device with Google Play Store? We should learn more in the coming weeks, when Google is expected to reveal the next Nexus smartphone alongside a few new Wear OS smartwatches. Huawei's upcoming phone will be made by TCL (pronounced T-C-L).
