How do I fix VPN blocking internet?
I've been struggling with this problem for about 2 weeks now.
I have not yet updated to 16.04 but my understanding is that it's pretty much a permanent solution as far as the VPN issue is concerned. How do I get internet back on my VPN?
I'd like to clarify something. I'm not trying to access PORN, or anything like that. I'm connecting to a VPN to access websites, such as Amazon and the likes, and not loading any extra services, such as music or Netflix. I haven't even attempted to download anything from these sites because I have been waiting for someone to resolve this issue.
I've done Google searches for "VPN not working", for "OpenVPN blocking" etc., and have had no success.
The VPN works very well, my question is how do I go about troubleshooting what exactly is preventing me from accessing the internet through the VPN. It turns out that there was a software firewall blocking my connection to the internet. Once I stopped the program the problem was resolved. Thank you all for your help.
