I understand that this show was shot in Toronto and that Netflix paid a lot to rent the studio. But what kind of money were they paying per episode? I know that they are using the new IMAX cameras for shooting so the production must be very expensive. I was just wondering if they were using all IMAX cameras for the entire run of the show or only a few episodes. Would this be a very small portion of the overall budget or a significant portion?

I'm not sure about what your asking. They don't have a 'studio' there are sets on a stage that they build inside the Toronto Art Gallery. I'm not sure if they used the full scale stages of the gallery or less. It is also difficult to determine how much they spend on it since I know nothing about the production so I can't estimate their budget.

You will need many extras and more time than you are giving them here in LIn Canada there are tax credits for this type of production and if the tax payer's want the company to keep the tax receipts it would be illegal for them not to produce the credits. Yes, I'm sure they use the stage of the Art Gallery. I'm certain they used only some of it or even built a stage within the walls and that's great that they have tax credits as a incentive to the public that is funding them. Re: Netflix still in Los Gatos? I think the problem here is people thinking that something that is not available now is not going to be available in the future. I think this is just a case of many people still thinking their area is better than it really is. If you really look at what the area has and hasn't done, it is pretty much a mix of the best things you could want in your area.

If you need to see what I mean, just take a drive down some of the streets in the area. There are just as many nice houses on those streets as the ones that are "dodgy" and cheap.

I don't think you'll ever be able to find a rental in a location like this that doesn't require a tv. If you look close enough, you will find them. That's how the realtor works. They will tell you what the houses are like because those houses are selling fast.
