What should a 12 year old watch on Netflix?
My husband and I are on vacation with our 12 year old daughter.
It's been a long time since we've been away, so she's looking forward to hanging out with her friends while we enjoy our free time. I'm ok with that, but I'm also ok with helping her find a good show to watch while we're on vacation. She's very active and is more of a video game and cartoon person. We do have Netflix, so she does have access to streaming stuff. I'm thinking a good show for a young girl would be something like The Good Doctor, but she is a little hesitant to give it a go. Any ideas or suggestions on what to stream? She doesn't like horror movies either.
This is the kind of dilemma all parents face, trying to find things for their kids to enjoy that aren't full of gore and sex. A TV show you mentioned is not at all my wife's thing, but I can think of some titles that your daughter might like.
The new season of Gotham sounds pretty cool, even though it's pretty violent. I wouldn't worry too much about your daughter's lack of interest in horror movies. She probably just isn't that interested in them. There are more things on TV these days than just The Walking Dead and Necessary Roughness. I remember the day that I gave in and agreed to take Buffy the Vampire Slayer into our house. Buffy was all I could talk about.
When we started, I had no idea what the difference between an R-rated movie and a PG-13 rated movie was. Nowadays, I can pretty much tell the difference by the title alone, and I know that my daughter has seen plenty of R-rated movies that don't even need an M.
I'm happy to recommend that you check out the new season of Gotham. The show isn't exactly for kids, but it's not violent. As far as shows go, it's really quite good.
What is a good family series on Netflix?
So, I've only really started watching and am in love with this one that has like 10 hours, 11 hours, 12 hours of content.
It's pretty well thought out, though I don't wanna give anything away! If you could point me to other series that would be really appreciated! "I wish he wouldn't use so many damn metaphor!""Don't try to speak, it's very disconcerting!""The man is crazy, his mind was damaged."Who are you? They seem almost too much of a parody--the whole, "this show is about our society; now look how it all fails" vibe is just so, uh, trite. Maybe I just haven't clicked with them because I haven't been exposed to them.
In any case, thank you and sorry to waste your time! You know, that could have been written perfectly about pretty much every single family sitcom ever made (though maybe not "Modern Family"). So then the guy gets a job in one of the offices. He starts his own paper route, but is never called on to deliver the papers until two days before the deadline, after which he must hand them over personally because they're on his own turf.
The paper isn't delivered. Nobody has called him for the next week or two, so he sits there getting more and more annoyed that his wife won't let him go through the trash as he's hungry. Every day at noon she finally offers to take him grocery shopping, they run into her boss at the restaurant and he ends up calling the office so he can explain why he missed the due date. This episode has the lowest ratings in the history of this program.
When his old nemesis shows up unexpectedly, he tells the neighbor, his wife and kid to hightail it home and lock themselves in the bedroom where everybody gets killed, because there's no way to tell when the guy is going to show up at the door with a gun or something. The dad turns into a psycho, and kills everybody in his path.
What to watch on Netflix for a 9 year old?
I am a 9 year old girl, and I love Netflix.
I know some of the things that I watch are bad, but I watch them anyway. I have a few problems that I have been wondering about for a while:
What to watch? -Is it okay to watch everything? -Do you have any ideas for me? -How do you think I'm doing? -Do you think I am smart? -How do you feel about what I watch? -Can you give me advice? -What would you want if you were me? -What would you think is good for me? -How do you feel about yourself? -How do you think I am doing? -How to think? -What to do? -How to not make mistakes? -What are the bad things you watch? -What is good and what is bad? -What is bad for you? -What makes you happy? -Do you know what is good and what is bad? -How do you live? -What do you believe in? -What do you think about? -Do you like reading? -What do you think about the people who watch things that are bad? -Are you good? -What do you think about me? -What do you like about me? -Do you feel sad? -What would you say if I was dead? -What would you do if you were me?
What are 13 year olds watching on Netflix?
13 year olds (and 10 year olds, and 9 year olds) are streaming video on Netflix a LOT. It makes sense given that kids who live with smartphones or tablet PCs are much more likely to also have good internet access at home than adults do.
But since 13 year olds also have cellphones, do they use the same apps we do? Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, YouTube and lots of other streaming video is what's being streamed. The main difference for kids is that Netflix and friends are in English; most other videos are in Korean or Spanish.
This data isn't scientific, but it provides some useful insight: For 13 year olds at our house, here are the 3 apps they're streaming or downloading on mobile phones that's not on Google Play or iTunes. Most people using these services in Korea are parents, of course, but we saw a lot of teens and even some elementary school age kids. Korail is a service that gives you unlimited access to public transport in Seoul. So here's what 13 year olds are watching on Netflix for US or Canadian residents, from February 1 through March 28, 2025 (the last day of data collection, though data continued to be collected from our homes even after we stopped gathering data ourselves): What are 18-24 year old Koreans watching on Netflix, as of March 15, 2016? For 18-24 year olds at our house, here are the 4 apps that's being streamed or downloaded on mobile phones that's not on Google Play or iTunes. Not too surprising that it's mainly K-Pop, sports, sitcoms and some comedy series. Also, there's an abundance of foreign content - mainly American TV shows but also things like French films.
