What does TTEC actually do?

I just wanted to drop in and thank all my readers for showing me a great deal of love last month. In particular, I'd like to thank Kestrel, the lady who asked me to do this column. You're really cool, and really interesting, and you're also amazing for letting me know about it. (Also, this is where I've spent the last week or so writing.)

Anyway, in this edition of the column: The TTEC has, apparently, gotten over its aversion to the word "pimp." They now call themselves The Trenton Trainers and Electricians Cooperative. The best thing about the T-Series is that while all three of them come with an AC adapter and wall wart included (yay!), none of them has a plug connector. Which means they'll stick on any wall.

In order to protect the delicate little things, there's no plastic, for starters. And since they look about the same size as a standard USB phone charger, it's just about impossible to lose them in the home. Also, they seem to be entirely immune to magnet-pulling effects and, well, everything else short of fire, so yeah: if you want to move or toss them, forget it. They won't go anywhere until you've given them a firm smack on the bum.

The back is marked by a green triangle pointing upward, giving it an official-looking, "Look, I'm official!" feel. They also don't seem to generate heat, and they can be charged without an adapter. So not only are you not going to get that power hungry old wall wart again, you won't have to put up with those damned adapters at all. And the price will go down after November 20th, which is when the product goes on sale. However, since they're sold out on Amazon for most of August, it looks like maybe you'll have to be patient.
