How do you get Google timeline on iPhone?
Google's newest smart phone called Pixel, is having some troubles with how to download, or setup Google's Google timeline.
We have all heard about Android phones, that you can download the app to your phone, or tablet, and it automatically shows the user's social media activity.
I was wondering if Apple would ever come up with anything similar? They have all the market share, with the iphone, and iPad! I want to see how other brands of phones, like Samsung for example, what type of activity could be shared via Google timeline? @David J Miller: That might indeed be a cool way for Apple to help its customers know what the heck is going on in their phone's social media activity. But it seems rather pointless to me, given that Facebook and Twitter already sell products specifically for that purpose.
@David J Miller: It seems fairly obvious. You know, after all, how many applications are out there now that let's you know what the heck is going on in your iDevices? I believe I've read an article that said there are more than 30 apps that can tell you what is going on in your phone? Why would Apple bother implementing their own? Why not integrate this with iCloud instead? Why add another layer of confusion when users have enough of that? In any case, it sure could be kind of useful if you're interested in seeing how people are interacting in-house, within your organization. Whether you have a company directory for all sorts of things, such as events, parties, and so on, perhaps the social media activity that occurs during those parties is something that should be documented to inform decisions about promotions and other issues.
The Google timeline also has a built-in sharing option (on top of iMessage). However, it takes away all that privacy that Apple tries to put up when you use social sites such as Facebook and Twitter. If a company is paying them for this feature, is it any surprise that they don't share anything with us?
Yes, of course it's still easier for people to see what you're posting, but it's much more secure for everybody else. Also, it's a better and faster experience for those who only use iPhones.
How do I see my Google timeline?
Are you trying to see your Google Timeline?
Are you trying to get to the part of Google where you can click on something you did awhile back and see how long it's been? You won't be able to use this method to view your Google timeline, because Google has a feature that was designed to make it difficult for Google's employees to find anything on a day to day basis. How to see your Google history with no code. If you go to Google Search bar and type in the following: view my search history and hit enter. You should see your Google search history in chronological order. If you didn't do anything Google Search recently, you'll only have the most recent date to work with.
You'll want to know all of your Google searches at once. However, there are a couple things you'll want to note, and then when you look, you should be able to see your entire Google search history.
When you hover over one of the dots under the Google Timeline in your Google Account and then it shows some stats. Hovering over the blue dot tells you the date and the time that you were searching.
If your searching history has a lot of different dates, some of them may not be available to you and the time will be missing. This is how you're able to view your Google History with no code. Google doesn't like people getting to see what they've been looking at. They designed their timeline to only show people the most recent search.
If you try to go into your Google Account history, you won't be able to see any of your Google history. This is because Google isn't letting you see your history. Instead, Google has placed a feature that prevents people from having access to their own Google History.
It's difficult to track Google search history and Google may not want you to know about it. While Google is making a big deal about it's new privacy statement that it rolled out recently, this isn't actually a very big deal to Google.
Does Google timeline still exist?
Is it still valid?
In the past, we often needed to search Google for the last 30 days or a year.
Do you remember this time? For me it's still valid now, although I don't like using Google timeline because it has become a big memory issue. Please advice on that. Thanks! Google has shut down the Timeline feature on June 11th, 2025. To learn about the reasoning behind the decision, see Google's blog post (and answers there) about why they decided to shut down this feature.
