How do I permanently turn off these annoying web push notifications?

How do I permanently turn off these annoying web push notifications?

I thought Facebook has this feature.

I figured this out after using my phone for about a day. The solution was to go to the "Applications and data" section in Settings, then select the "Apps" tab on the top, scroll down until you see the Facebook app on the list, then click on it and uninstall the app. (Note that if you do this, you won't be able to log in with your FB account. You'll need to re-download FB or re-enable it.) Now go to the "Applications and data" section in Settings again, scroll down, and tap the "Active apps" box in the bottom left of the list. Then scroll all the way to the bottom of the page, and you will see some sort of a screen to update/remove applications. Scroll back up the screen until you see Facebook's app, then select it and click on the Remove button next to it.

After doing this, my Facebook notifications will no longer be annoying.

How to clear cookies?

I am using Google Chrome browser, I would like to know how to stop those annoying popup messages. I have not signed up for any of those services and want them to stop bothering me. Is there a way to do this?

Chrome: Preferences > Advanced > Privacy and Security > Content settings > Enable 'Do Not Track' and clear your browsing data. Firefox: Tools > Options > Privacy > History > select 'reset all settings' and clear the history. Mozilla: Mozilla (like Google) blocks tracking cookies (even when they aren't being used for advertising) from third-party advertisers. There are a few ways to do this: Mozilla is working on adding support for Do Not Track, to block tracking cookies in the browser, but it isn't ready yet. Clear the cache and other browser settings at. The above should stop the notification as well. But sometimes one doesn't.

There is one more that we need to add: Delete cookies on your phone. If you use an Android phone, the options are different than on other browsers. To clear cookies on an Android phone, just visit (a Google extension) and clear your browser's recent pages list or delete items you don't want. Then the notifications will stop appearing.

On an Android phone, you may get a pop up asking whether to clear all of your information or just those on the current site. Since some sites may save your data even after you've left that site, it is useful to select 'clear all information' instead.

If you set a cookie, make sure it is set for a duration of 30 days or less (less than that, the cookie gets dropped). If the cookies only remain for a very short period of time (so when you leave a site) it is not worth it. We just want to be able to remember you as a visitor, without tracking your every move.

Some websites use cookies to collect data about your browsing.

How do I block notifications from a specific website?

The best way to block all notifications from a website is to add it to the list in the security and safety section of your control panel.

However, this method is ineffective because the site may still send you notifications after being blocked.

To block notifications from one or more websites, you can: In the security and safety section, click on the block icon. Enter the website address or domain name (for example, yahoo.com) and click Add to block notifications from the website.

To block notifications from one or more apps, you can: Enter the app name or shortcut name (for example, Twitter) and click Add to block notifications from the app.
