How to bypass Windscribe data limit?

I've been using Windscribe for a long time and I've recently upgraded to their premium account.

How can I bypass the data limit imposed on it? It has something to do with their web proxy? I'm a Windows user.

We make a free version of such a solution to allow people to download movies and software without having to worry about being limited by their ISP. However there are some very big websites who block our service and we're currently unable to bypass this restriction.

This was done on purpose so if you want to be able to download software or media you are going to need a premium account. In order to be able to bypass the data limit you need to provide Windscribe with your true IP address. You can find your IP address in Firefox and Chrome by navigating to the settings and then looking at the Privacy settings. In Firefox go to View> Page Info. In chrome you go to the settings, click on Options and then go to Under the Hood. You need to open the "Network" tab and click on the settings button at the top of the page to show all settings. Scroll down until you see an IP address and copy that one. Once you have done that simply send a test email from a different email address and confirm it in your browser. Once confirmed open up your favorite torrent and share your IP with your friends.

If I follow this instructions I will have to get a new email address or create another fake email that someone will have to send a message with it? I'm not sure if I understand correctly. Can't it work with my primary email account? If you have created a new email address your friend will need to verify it and then send you an email. In the past it was possible to bypass the limit by spoofing your IP however our servers no longer support this operation. We are unable to do this and our community is unwilling to do so either. For this reason we've now started blocking spoofed IP addresses.

Yes, most of them do offer a free VPN. You'll have to look at what their policy is for cancellations. If you cancel on or before the 7th day, you will be charged. Cancellation after that, you'll get a pro-rated refund.

As far as coupons go, the majority will not offer any. There are a few out there that will offer a coupon code for new users.

The one thing to note is that many VPN services are advertised as providing unlimited bandwidth. The issue is that unlimited does not mean unlimited. The issue with this can vary depending on the VPN service itself. Some give you a certain amount of data per month for example. Other VPN providers advertise unlimited, but are actually giving away just a fraction of what you would actually get when streaming from Netflix or Hulu.

That being said, your best option would be to try out a few VPN providers, and find one you think you might like. They don't allow unlimited usage, and it comes down to what's in the agreement when you sign up. This is for Netflix specifically. If you watch other stuff and have no traffic restrictions on Netflix, then there won't be a problem.
