Why is PIA not connecting?

Hey everyone, I had my first flight with PIA for the last 9 months and just got delayed the other day because of a power outage.

I've now got a call in with them and they won't have me on a flight until they get something sorted. I can't even make a reservation atm due to it being a new airline.

I've used it before on two occasions (flight to Dubai and back) when it had good connections with Emirates but this is a 3 hr flight with Emirates (i think the time that it's about to be in Dubai which is not exactly next to the Luton airport and also it's not a direct flight) as well as flights to Doha, Amman and Dubai.e. As far as I can see I'm only getting a flight to Mumbai or maybe i'm wrong. I've read several threads here saying the Luton airport is quite far away from the London city centre.

Why can't they connect me? Is this some sort of protection of their monopoly? Am I the only one having trouble booking flights atm? If you're lucky there might be another plane in between, so you might be able to get your connection changed from PIA to the next plane. If they don't do that, then you're either on another country's flight, or you're going to a different city where there might be some connections. If that's the case, you're not doing anything too out of the ordinary.

There is no way to get the ticket changed. On previous occasions, they have tried the usual "change name and rebooking" idea for 2 people on the ticket and didn't work. There's no option to say "I want to be on these 2 flights today" and expect them to give me tickets for those flights.

You have to be happy that you'll be flying at all for some reason because PIA was previously a no-name in the airline industry with their frequent service. This might have something to do with your destination - are you trying to get to India for business, holiday or a wedding or something? How is your credit rating and is this just a problem with PIA or was it some sort of issue with both flights? Why is my VPN not connecting on my iPhone?

My VPN is not working properly.

I can see my home IP on my iPhone, so I know the IP address is correct, but I am unable to connect to the VPN. I have enabled 'Use this connection always' on the settings tab. When I restart my iPhone or change the network (eg mobile data turned off), the VPN gets established but I still cannot browse through my iPhone.

I was thinking that maybe the VPN was being blocked. I am using OpenVPN as I want to connect to a VPN in China, which I believe requires a VPN. I'm connecting to my own wifi (no mobile or other hotspots).

It happens to me too. My VPN works on all Android phones but not on my iPhone, only when I change internet providers or switch Wi-Fi networks. I think there must be some kind of rule on what the app needs or does not need to connect.

This happens quite often to me with VPN. It seems to work in general but my phone will go completely nuts for a minute or so if I do something unusual like switch Wi-Fi networks or just restart my phone.

You don't need to connect to your VPN when connecting via hotspot. There should be option "Connect to VPN" as default option for any WiFi.e. If it is not there you can switch on VPN at your router Settings.

I thought the same, why should the VPN be switched on before I connect? It works fine on my phone when I open the app and then connect to my VPN, but with all that noise from the phone it makes it a bit hard to hear. Perhaps the solution for me will be to unplug the wifi/ethernet adapter from the wall to avoid the phone making too much noise.
