How do I get Charles Proxy to work on VPN?

I have the following situation: Computer A runs VPN client software.

Computer A has a static IP address on a home network (the VPN IP). Computer B runs a server with dynamic IP address. Computer B has an internet IP address and is using Charles Proxy to monitor that IP address. I want to connect from Computer A to Computer B using a SSH tunnel. What you describe sounds like you need to setup port forwarding for the ssh connection from Computer A to Computer B. The tunnel will let you ssh in as if you were on the local network, but in reality you are connecting to a different IP and the port forwarding will forward the traffic to the local computer B.
