Can a Wi-Fi owner see what I search on my phone?

Can someone see my internet history if I use their Wi-Fi?

I know I can't access it on their Wi-Fi because I'm not a member of their network.

But is there any way to find out what websites they're browsing? Is there any data about me stored on their router that can be viewed by their neighbours?
Thanks in advance. Is there any way to find out what websites they're browsing? Yes, but you probably wouldn't want to, and you might even violate the terms of service, so let's look at each individual aspect of this question. ? No. Even if you can somehow spy on their browser, they'd have no idea what sites you've visited if you did.

Probably not. The only thing that neighbors might be able to get hold of is what wireless devices you are using, which would not give any information about what you were visiting.

The short answer is that you can never really know what your neighbor is doing if you use the same Wi-Fi, but you might be able to infer what they are doing from some of the information that is already publicly available.

Can a Wi-Fi owner see what I search on my phone?

Yes.

Here's why.

Google Home was the first Wi-Fi device to support Voice Assistant in Australia. That is, it allows you to speak into Google Assistant - and Google Home is always listening - and do something else simultaneously, without switching apps.

If you use Google Assistant with Google Home as your wake-up alarm, I use both of these devices every day and have found that you can ask Google Home the same thing multiple times, to answer different questions at different times, and never know which one of your replies will be recognised. That means when I'm using both, the system works well for me - for example, if I want to ask 'What's the weather like?' and 'Should I order food or book a cab' at the same time, but I know that because Google Home is always listening, whichever one I do first will be the first one to be answered - and the same thing happens if I say 'I'd like to watch some TV'. It could happen to be my other 'should I order food or book a cab' that is the first reply. Or, again, if I ask, in the middle of the night, 'Can I book a cab?', it might be the 'should I order food or book a cab' that my Google Home is answering. It depends on which device is nearest to the microphone.

But the thing I really like, and this is especially useful for parents, is if you are away from home and have your hands full with young children, you don't need to stop what you are doing to answer the phone or respond to that all-too-common pinging sound from their tiny ears, then simply say 'I'm in the lounge with the kids, you can just talk to them.' This means that my toddler can answer Google Home questions (when the children get older they can better about recognising certain voices) and we can converse as if they were still at home. So far so good. The good news is that no-one is getting any personal data, such as names, addresses, telephone numbers, web history, emails etc. From this interaction with Google Home.

Can the Wi-Fi owner see what I search on private?

When I search something on the Wi-Fi, for example, it does not look like I search what others are searching and when I type the name of a person, it cannot show me the private messages, it is only possible to see what I am searching if I want to search someone by calling them or sending a message to their number and then they will reply.

This is the problem. It is annoying to use. So how can it be fixed? Thank you.

Can I see what websites have been visited on my Wi-Fi?

Yes, you can.

In the Settings section of your smartphone or tablet, tap on Wi-Fi to view all websites that have been visited using your Wi-Fi connection. This is a great way to check if any of your family members are visiting inappropriate websites, or if anyone has access to your Wi-Fi password.

Can I track my activity on the Internet? In the Settings section of your smartphone or tablet, tap on Wi-Fi to view the total amount of time that has been used for Wi-Fi, Internet, and cellular data usage. You can also tap on the Activity tab to view the total amount of time that has been used for Wi-Fi, Internet, and cellular data usage.
