If you're new to SANS Internet Awareness Training here is how you find your modem IP address.
1) If you're using a D-Link modem, your IP address should have been assigned by default. You can find it by opening a web browser and typing your user ID (usually admin) and the password admin, or by viewing your connection settings under network.
Click the drop down menu to make sure that Connect Automatically is selected. This setting is set in your DHCP option and will automatically activate whenever you restart your computer.
2) Click on the View IP tab to view your IP address. 3) When prompted to enter a host name, type in your SANS username. Your username and password are the same as admin.
4) You should now see your SANS IP address. Note: If you cannot access View IP the SANS Admin or IT support desk will assist you in accessing this information.
