(July 2018)
If you're like me, you already know that Netflix is the king of streaming video. It has so many movies and TV shows that it's hard to keep up with everything that's out there.
You may have your favorites from years past, but if you haven't seen a new release in a while, you can always find a new movie or TV show on Netflix. With that being said, I decided to take a look at the top 10 movies and TV shows on Netflix today. This list will update every weekday as new movies and TV shows come out on Netflix. Top 10 Movies on Netflix Today. (July 2 - July 7). The Secret Life of Pets. I've been waiting for this film for months, and I wasn't disappointed by the wait. This animated film tells the story of a young boy whose pets are taken away by his neighbor. He doesn't want to let them go, but he also doesn't want to hurt their feelings.
The film is full of cute moments, and you'll love seeing all of the little dogs together. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is one of the most unique superhero films I've seen. It's set in a fictional universe where Peter Parker is in a long-running battle with his greatest villain.
I loved this film because I'm a huge Spider-Man fan, but this movie is something special. It combines the best elements of the best Spider-Man stories, and it works.
Wonder Woman. Another of my favorite superhero films, Wonder Woman comes from director Patty Jenkins. This story follows the eponymous heroine as she fights injustice.
The film features a great supporting cast, and I was blown away by the CGI. There are a few slow moments, but I'm willing to overlook them because of everything else that I enjoyed.
A Simple Favor. A Simple Favor is a dark comedy that tells the story of a teenage girl who is struggling with her new life. She meets a mysterious man who changes everything.
The movie focuses on the lead character's personal struggles, and I enjoyed that.
