I recently started running a Patreon campaign in which I'm raising money to do the following: Record my podcast.

Pay bills. Take my wife on a long overdue trip. While I wasn't expecting to make enough money in the first few days to accomplish all 3 of these things, I did, and it came at such an incredibly fast pace that I thought I should share. The reason why it came at such an incredibly fast pace is because this was something I made up as I was rolling out my Patreon. After the first couple of days, I went to bed with 5 locations: NYC, Miami, Prague, Greece, San Francisco. I didn't know what to do with that much money. I'm going to get paid for my time. There's no more obligation other than doing the thing I promised. I thought about why I wasn't going to do the podcast. It's not because it doesn't interest me or because I have no time. It's because the money involved wasn't quite enough. By waiting I was being lazy. That's not what I want to be.

So I posted a Patreon video that said that I was going to do all three items and I needed people to pledge to help me to do so.

I remember watching the clip for Mazey Day on television in the UK where the trailer was accompanied with an interview with Kristin Wright who played Mazey Day. I was interested to see how she would do in portraying the titular role in the final episode of Black Mirror. As it turns out, she nailed it.

In fact, she was the perfect choice for the role. Her physical appearance plays well off a dark, ominous character, and her performance as a 'murderer' in Mazey Day is outstanding. But, as I learned from one of my friends, it was a different take on Black Mirror for Kristin to shoot. Not that it's bad, but I didn't know exactly what to expect since this show really doesn't have a standard formula.

In our interview, Kristin answers questions about the role, her personal life, and how Black Mirror has changed her career. Read on to see what she had to say.

Kristin, we've seen you in many different shows before Black Mirror. Why did you feel like you were the right person for the role of Mazey Day? Kristin Wright: Well, this show doesn't have a traditional storyline - the way it develops every time is different - so this was a good opportunity for me to be thrown into something with no idea of what was going on. Was there anything that surprised you about how you were portrayed in Mazey Day? KW: The whole storyline! I wasn't sure how it was going to end, but I was still excited about shooting it. I thought the script that I read was amazing, and I wanted to play it in all its weirdness!
