How do I use no root firewall app?

Is there a firewall for Iphone?

We are a group of about 30 students and parents who are trying to get rid of the firewalls for our school computer lab.

We are unable to do a test to see if the computers are working correctly without the firewalls enabled, we can't change our user name or password, and we can't login to our student's accounts or any accounts on the computer. I have an Iphone which is our only computer, and I need to use it for school work. It says "iPhones are not allowed to access Apple servers". Please help us by answering my question, and thanks in advance for your help. Answer:There is a firewall for iPhone. If you are trying to go on the internet using itunes connect then there is no way that you can be able to access itunes connect on Iphone. So if you want to go on the internet then you need to download a browser from the app store on Iphone like google chrome or safari.e. And also Iphone doesn't have a firewall so it won't be blocking any connection.

Please note that the internet usage on Iphone is in the same way as the ipad. All you can do is check the weather, play games like tictactoe, but you cannot have any type of downloads or uploads.

This is a forum to allow users of the iOS devices to ask questions and receive support directly from Apple employees. The "Apple Store" is for buying and selling of 3rd party products.

Does Iphone have no root firewall?

This is an interesting question.

Let's first examine that no matter what operating system you use, there must be some way to allow users to access and manage your computer via the Internet (like your web browser) and if it doesn't then you'd probably consider your computer secure and safe? What about if your PC has already been hacked but you use anti-virus software and can see that the hacker was caught in the act? Can't such a program detect a hacker without also granting full root access to that user so he can actually do anything on the device? I think this may be a simple answer but to try to get it wrong I'm just being lazy. If anybody can make an argument in favor of it that'd be great.

UPDATE: To the people who say there is no such thing as "root access" on Linux / UNIX, here are a few links that proves that there IS such thing: Can a PC really ever be hacked, regardless of how hard we try? To the guy who said "it is not possible" because "a root account is not allowed on Linux or Unix". Here's his proof: Thanks. No, there isn't any such thing on most OS's (that a normal user can install.) However, the admin(root) user is always able to do pretty much everything no matter what.

How do I use no root firewall app?

It's important to protect your child from malicious or harmful apps, but at the same time, it's important to not limit their freedom.

As a parent, I am concerned about what my child may or may not do on the device if it is not set to have a no root firewall app. I have read that there are some apps that will not install on devices that have no root apps. Do I need to worry about a no root firewall app and do I need to be worried about limiting my child's freedom? Thank you for your time. Ashley. Answer: I believe you are referring to the Android Market. Google actually has their own software distribution process to keep this from happening and it appears to be fairly successful. If you download a third-party application in the Android Market, you do so with a user account associated with the Google Account used to login to the Google Play store. When you install an app, Google uses their servers to determine if the app is from an approved developer. If it is determined that the app is an "unapproved" developer, Google blocks that app from being installed.

Additionally, if you install an app from an "unapproved" developer, you will get a warning message at the time of the app's installation that says the app is from an "unapproved" developer. With a system such as this, Google can easily determine what apps are being installed and when and it appears to be relatively effective. Of course, it would not be a perfect solution, but it is certainly one way to keep your child safe from malicious or harmful apps. I hope this helps you with the Android Market and that you don't have any problems with this. This answer was rated: 10/03/2011. Mjrudnep. Hello, I'm confused. My daughter and I use a rooted phone, which has no firewall protection, but we have another Android (not iPhone) phone that has many 3rd party apps that are not safe. Should I restrict these apps? I'm afraid that by installing only one of them, she could unknowingly download something that might be harmful. Any advice?
