What is a synonym for the word viable?
From the Oxford English Dictionary: viable: ADJ.
1. Able to be developed or maintained; capable of being developed or Or a synonym could be viable: 1. Having a chance of success, particularly if not hopeless.
2. Capable of being carried out, esp. By a person, group, company, etc.:
The plan was not viable. And you have viable: 3. Capable of being brought into existence.
As for your example sentence, I would use the word "viable": The concept is not viable. To my mind, viable is a word that means something similar to "can be done" or "is potentially doable", and it means it in a very specific way, meaning it implies that it's feasible and can be done, but also that it's quite a big deal to do it. If the idea is "not feasible" (as in the OE dictionary sense of "capable of being developed or maintained"), you might use "infeasible".
What are the examples of viable?
The examples of viable in the US are pretty obvious: A child born today can expect to live to 100 (though admittedly we have better health care, longer life spans and all kinds of improvements to take advantage of). We can also argue that it is more likely than not that our children will have children, and their children will live to 100.
A person who reaches 100 can expect to live long enough to see their great-grandchildren reach 100. A million people will be living to 100 in the 21st century. Someone who grows up in 1900 will reach 100 in 2100. The last person to live to 100 in the US was George Rogers Clark in 1796. If you take a random selection of humans alive in the year AD 2024, and check how many live to age 100, you can predict the number with confidence. It is very difficult to go for a long time without running into someone over 100. So, what is the current data on life expectancy?
What do we mean by viable?
As much as the idea of 'viable' is a hot topic in our community, we often find ourselves trying to explain what we mean by viable in more ways than one.
Most people know what it means to be a 'viable' human being. A person can walk, talk, and eat, and therefore, can survive in the world. We have an expectation of what it means to be 'viable' in the world today.
But we're not talking about a new way to think about living in the world. We're talking about a new way of thinking about God's presence in the world.
We live in a world with a lot of problems. In some cases, the problems are very well-known; but in other cases, the problems are very hidden and unknown.
But when we think of the problem of suffering in the world, we tend to think of it in a very specific way. We tend to think that the problem of suffering is the result of God's absence.
But this is an extremely narrow understanding of God's presence in the world. The world isn't made in a way that we can easily understand. There are some things in the world that are hard to understand, like gravity. But there are other things in the world that are easy to understand, like the world around us.
God is present in the world in a way that is easy for us to understand, just like the world around us. So, when we talk about God's presence in the world, we don't mean that God is absent from the world. God is present in the world in a way that is easy for us to understand. God is here in the world just like the world is here.
If you think about the problem of suffering in the world, you'll think about the problem of suffering in the world as being caused by God's absence. But this isn't a way of thinking about God's presence in the world that is easy for us to understand. God is not absent from the world. God is here in the world in a way that is easy for us to understand.
