Why can't I access Hulu on my Samsung Smart TV?

Is Hulu no longer supported on Samsung TV?

Hi All,I recently bought a new Samsung Smart TV-A80D.

I have never had a problem with my computer/laptop, or my old tv, but the new TV seems to have issues rendering Hulu and the "Now" channel. They both work on the LG and other old ones. Is there a fix for this? And yes, I can access Hulu from my phone and computer (via chrome, I don't have any others installed).

When you try to watch Hulu on Samsung Smart TV (A80D), do you receive an error message such as this when you play the program through a connected HDMI source: Cannot play this video at this time. Check your Internet connection, Wi-Fi speed and network stability or any of the other common Hulu error messages.

Hi All,Yes, that's the message I get now. Hulu is listed as 'inactive' on Hulu.com under Account > Account details and clicking on Sign in gives an error - "The account requested cannot be authenticated." However, it works fine on my old tv that only has Roku. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I'll bet you'd lose service if you switched your cable box from HbbTV to Ethernet too.so what about all those customers, who have Comcast/Xfinity and just use a HbbTV enabled Roku. It's always been "supported". But the real question is why is the Smarttv not working properly, or what could they even be trying to do?

If it fails on your own Samsung smart TV, how long did you wait after you bought the TV before contacting your local TV provider. They should also log on to see that you were not on their TV, and see if they will refund you. This may not work for people living outside their area codes, so it's best if you contact and see if anyone in your area code has an A80D smart TV. If so, you can use that TV.

How do I change my Hulu region?

To change your region, sign in to your Hulu account at Hulu.
