How to add device to Verizon MDM?
So I have Verizon MDM, my device was a Verizon phone from the time it launched.
At work they told me that there is no way to add the device to my MDM account after upgrading. So I figured there must be a way as a Verizon customer, not because I had root and stuff but because I had this phone for years and I was able to use it. So I figured someone has to have been able to do this or maybe someone can provide the process.
I'm thinking I'll have to set up another Verizon phone (or two) and send that phone back to Verizon (if possible). You need to login using your old phone as there's some sort of link between them that allows you to authorize it with the new phone that's on the MDM network. Unfortunately, without that data it can't show up on the new phone.
My work will only give me an iPhone and no other phones (including non-iPhone iOS devices), so I can't test it myself. Sorry for my failure to help you.

You mean "as a Verizon customer" who didn't have your phone, and it is possible but you need to get technical help as I assume your company would want your phone (which you can keep as long as you want). If you want to keep your old phone - and keep "legally" using the app (and keep your old numbers) - then you will need to login to your old phone and use it to connect to your MDM.
