Is there a way to see incognito history on Samsung phone?
Hi,I recently upgraded from a T-mobile Android 3.
2 phone (Mytouch w5) to a samsung SGH-I897 (Samsung galaxy s2) the problem I am having is that I have many history items stored on my previous phone but when I go into my browser it states that the device does not support incognito browsing.
Is there anyway I can view these history items on my new phone? No, you cannot go back, sorry. Incognito data can be wiped from data storage if you use data connection only. This means no background tasks can be activated or executed. Your incognito data will also be wiped once you power off your device.

Thanks for the quick answer, do I still have this option on my samsung SGH-i947 (Samsung galaxy s3)? I just looked at my incognito history and the option was there but nothing in there other then what I originally had. Thanks for the help though, I guess I will just have to manually add what I need to the android/sdcard XDA Developers was founded by developers, for developers. How to browse privately on Samsung?
I recently had the opportunity to try out a Samsung Galaxy S5.
The OS was very intuitive and easy to use. But I noticed that when I connect to wifi and go to the browser, all my browsing history is in the clear. This is not something that I want to happen. I am worried that I could be spied on while browsing through a public Wifi.e. How can I make my browser private?
Thanks in advance. Just enable the "private browsing" feature of Chrome. There are two settings: Open "chrome://settings/content/PrivateBrowsing" in your browser. Choose the "Enable private browsing" checkbox. You'll be able to browse without leaving any trace.
Does incognito mode keep you private?
You can easily keep your private web browsing history in a separate folder and access it incognito mode. It's not clear from the video whether the app's incognito mode has been enabled.
You can also use the built-in browser's incognito mode. However, the private browsing is limited to the tab that is open at the time when you launch the browser. In the case of Chrome, you can enable private browsing by right-clicking on the tab and selecting InPrivate.
The new feature allows for the quick creation of private sites, and will be a boon for those who find Google Chrome too slow and clunky. This is the latest in a series of updates we've been seeing recently. The Google Play Store is updated more often than the iOS App Store, and if you're already looking at the App Store version of Chrome, you may have to go back to Google Play and download the latest version of the app.
How do I make my incognito private?
Is there a way to make my incognito private on my website so that only people who have access to that password can see the site?
I'm not concerned about being safe. I just don't want them to be able to see what I'm doing there. I don't need to have any sort of security and want to show things that are just for fun. I've also looked for an extension but am just wondering if there is any sort of way to do this in chrome.
I've made my incognito private as well. If you've put your site address at home page and click on it and then open incognito mode, then your site should be private. This will help you to open your sites incognito mode.
Also incognito mode and password are two different things. When you open your browser incognito mode then browser creates session. Once session is created then you will get the opportunity to login into account. You can use any other browser and not open incognito mode and you won't be required to sign in again to show private stuff.
If you're opening your website incognito mode then you'll be able to use that address. It will ask you to sign in because incognito mode will have its own url.
Hope this answers your question.
