Can I disable routing and remote access service?
I use a Samsung Galaxy S2 (CSC-921T, V2.3). I want to be a private user, so I wish to disable Remote Access service and Routing service. Can I do it? If yes, please give me a code for those things.
Yes you can. To disable the remote access, press and hold your home button (where the sleep/power off button is) and press the power off key. A menu will pop up. Tap settings. Tap applications. Tap Google search app. Tap manage apps. Tap My Apps. Scroll down to Google apps. Tap Google search app (it may be listed as disabled). Tap remove or tick the box. Now your device will have no access to the Internet via this connection. To disable routing, I believe that you would need to factory reset. If you do this, when you start the device it should have no connection to the Internet.
How to enable routing and remote access in Windows 11?
Hello, I recently updated my Windows 10 laptop to Windows 11.
I am wondering how can I enable routing and remote access in it. I have disabled the secure boot on my laptop. I used to use "Remote Desktop Gateway" on Windows 7 to remote access my Windows 10 laptop. In Windows 7, it is located in the Network & Internet menu. However, in Windows 11, it is not there. Can anyone help me? Thanks!
Windows 10 and newer only supports VPN and Routing with the Windows Routing and Remote Access client. The Routing and Remote Access client doesn't work for Windows 7 or earlier.
What you might be able to do is try a third-party app to do the routing and remote access instead of using the native Routing and Remote Access client. Look into FreeSwitch for example.
