Is there a free version of GlassWire?

What is the difference between free and pro GlassWire?

Free gives you unlimited access to all reports and information.

Pro is the paid version which includes more features.

What are the different pricing plans available? GlassWire offers three different tiers of service which you can read about here. They are as follows: Monthly Subscription. 1 Year Subscription. 3 Year Subscription. Do I need a subscription to use the application? Yes. GlassWire comes with a 30-day trial and is a monthly service fee that begins with the first instance of use after the end of the trial period.

Are there any time restrictions on use? Yes, the number of hours used each month is tracked. If you are allowed 7 hours, but used 8, the 7-hour allowance will be subtracted from your usage the next month. If you use all of your 7 hours, it will be considered a one time usage and will not be recorded in your monthly usage for that month.

Can I export my reports? We have developed a detailed guide on exporting your data. If you do not see your answers in this page, we recommend contacting us to have them added.

Does GlassWire monitor multiple websites? Yes, GlassWire is designed to look at one website at a time, and it monitors that site 24/7. It does not look at multiple sites simultaneously, nor does it search multiple sites simultaneously. This helps to speed up the scanning process and reduce the chances of missing anything.

How does GlassWire work? GlassWire scans web pages based on your search criteria. When it finishes a scan, it creates a report for you to view. The user interface is easy to navigate. It provides a Summary of the Webpages Scanned and a list of Scanned Pages. Scroll down the page to the Scan Status to see the status of the scan. Scroll right and you'll see an email address. If the scan is finished, GlassWire sends an email to this address letting you know the scan is finished.

What is GlassWire used for?

GlassWire is a network traffic and service monitoring, and control solution.

Many web application attacks (DDOSs, Denial of Service Attacks, and Cross Site Scripting attacks) occur by attacking the service layer in the browser. By monitoring application services, GlassWire allows you to detect anomalies which may indicate where the attack is coming from. With a click of a button, you can stop or allow traffic to those services so your users are not exposed to an attack or have to wait for a web page to load.

In addition to detecting if traffic is compromised, you can view the service details to see who is attacking you, what type of traffic is being used, and what they are doing when attacking you. If they are successful, you will be notified that your application is not functioning normally and allow you to determine what has happened. You can view all the requests going through your site with the traffic details you can use to investigate what has happened.

We recommend using this tool to monitor both traffic coming from and going to your services to help ensure you have comprehensive application health.

Is there a free version of GlassWire?

I understand that you guys probably don't make this product for free, so I am looking for a free, or inexpensive alternative of GlassWire (free trial version available is nice as well). Thanks.

Re: ? You can download it and see what it will do for you. It also works like a live CD, just in case you have any questions. There is a cost though. I think you would have to pay an upgrade fee for it to continue working at the level it does.

You could consider downloading the Windows version of it from some warez site and using the registry files from that to put into the Linux version and it should run ok. That is a possible option for some people if they do not have a lot of time to mess with Linux software configs.

The link on the second post on the GlassWire forum is for the full version. To use any of the registry tools mentioned, you first need to know what key is the problem. This DWORD has 3 values, each of which is a string.

The problem is I had set up a dual boot for Windows 7 & 8.1, and when I installed anti-virus program, it messed up the start menu links of Windows, and then all the links for programs that I added in the past.
