What to watch today TV?

I'm looking for things to watch on the TV.

I have cable, and no Netflix or Hulu. I know that with the new season of Breaking Bad coming out on Sunday night I'll be wanting to watch that, but what else is good? Like I said I don't really have any interest in netflix and Hulu, just want something good to watch on Sunday nights when the episode comes out. The only thing I watch on TV is on Sunday nights for sports, but other than that it's all movies. I don't even get HBO. So any suggestions for something good to watch on TV with out breaking the bank? I have a Tivo but I rarely use it. I mostly leave it on when I go to work on the weekends or when I come home. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I don't watch anything on hulu because I find it incredibly annoying. It makes me cringe when it pops up for the next show I want to watch, unless I need to watch an epsiode from last week. I do like Netflix b/c of the shows I've been able to find there. For example, I like Homeland (which can be found there) so much I made a thread for it! Some of my favorites are the Sopranos, and Scrubs, and 30 Rock (which is probably the most random). I also enjoy watching documentaries, like "Inside Job," "Food Inc.," etc. There are so many great ones out there, and they're really informative and have a great message to share. My favorite thing to watch on Netflix is "The Black List," which is where they find Hollywood's best-kept secrets. It's not a show but they have the ability to make you think about things, and it's really funny.

If you love the idea of a documentary, then I'd highly suggest starting a journey to discover Netflix's vast library of incredible documentaries. As for TV, what kind of shows are you interested in? And if you're a fan of comedy, then NBC's The Office is one of the best shows on the web that will have you rolling on the floor laughing (I promise you won't regret watching it). There are also some truly awesome sitcoms out there that might catch your eye as well: Family Guy, The Big Bang Theory, and My Name Is Earl. These are just a few of my favorites.

What TV shows come on tonight?

TV Guide's TV tonight lineup includes a new episode of Homeland, The Simpsons, The Voice, How I Met Your Mother, Parenthood and two episodes of the new Showtime series The Borgias.

When will it be on? The Homeland season finale will air at 10/9c on Monday. Will they be back? Homeland is certainly not cancelled, and we have to hope that the network will keep Homeland on the schedule. But this was one of the most critically acclaimed shows of 2025, and its final episodes are a lot darker than past Homeland finales. If the show isn't renewed, it's possible that the series finale will be the last we see of Carrie, Brody, Fara and the rest.

What else will be on? 30 p.m. ET Ted is in the clear. 8 p.m. They won't be back. Shameless. 9 p.m. It's too early to tell. This is the start of a two-week run of Simpsons episodes. It may or may not be the final one.
