What do the lights on the CM1200 mean?
I have been struggling to figure out how to read the lights on the CM1200.
If anyone can help that would be great, thanks Posted by mikeslough on 7/2013 at 2:17 pm. Mike. The first 3 lights indicate the amount of voltage being drawn from the battery. The next 6 lights give you a sense of the amount of juice your machine is using while charging.
Posted by dpoole on 7/2013 at 4:29 pm. Hi Mike. For all the CM1200s that have come my way, the lights are green and greenish yellow, but when I get home tonight, I will try and capture a picture. The lights are the same, no matter if I am charging or running. Thanks. Dp
Posted by dpoole on 7/2013 at 4:30 pm. Sorry I was out on Friday. On my machine, the battery light is green and the charging light is green, with greenish yellow in the next half dozen lights. I think it is a universal set of lights, but I might have to check mine again.
Posted by mikeslough on 7/2013 at 4:48 pm. OK, it looks like all the lights on all machines show green and greenish yellow. I'll probably get a picture of that tonight. I don't know if it matters, but I bought the batteries a while ago.
Posted by mikeslough on 7/2013 at 4:49 pm. I think that this is what they mean. The green LED(s) indicates charging is occuring. Green LED is on battery voltage, yellow LED is on charging current. Greenish yellow LED is charging current over 1 amp for the previous 60 minutes. I would suggest using a scope to view these colors and see if it helps any. What I think it means is that the machine is charging at a lower current.
What does the orange light on a Netgear Nighthawk mean?
This article originally appeared on Netgear's Blog.
Netgear has introduced the Netgear Nighthawk R7 AC1900 Tri-Band Gigabit Wi-Fi Router which you can find a lot more about at Wikipedia. (Photo: Screenshot) When Netgear announced their product line up of new networking gear in late 2025, one router that really caught our interest was the new Netgear Nighthawk R7 AC1900 Tri-Band Gigabit Wi-Fi Router. What better name to use than Nighthawk, and when it is an AC router what more do you need! So we ordered our review sample, and now we've finished writing our review we thought we would explain a little more about what it's all about.
AC technology in Netgear. We should have mentioned at the beginning that it is an AC router. This means that it gives off a lot of electromagnetic radiation which is known as Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs). Although they are known to be non-harmful to us, they aren't for everyone and people tend to complain about it depending on how sensitive they are.
What's even more interesting is the fact that the Nighthawk AC900 (Nighthawk R7), not only does offer tri-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, it also comes with 5GHz N and 2.4GHz 802.11n technology. So if you can imagine, it is a device that is designed with wireless coverage, but with that said, it only offers a very small antenna so it is really hard to cover a large house using it.
How good is it for streaming? With the Netgear Nighthawk R7 AC1900 Tri-Band Gigabit Wi-Fi Router you will get speeds ranging from 300Mbps down to 450Mbps. What's amazing about this speed of course is that this router will let you stream high definition video streams seamlessly, and we think that you might be impressed by this! We tested it out at full speed, and found that the WiFi streaming tests would only last for minutes, but overall you would notice any issues with internet streaming. How good is it for downloading? The Netgear Nighthawk R7 AC1900 Tri-Band Gigabit Wi-Fi Router allows you to upload files to and download them from the cloud seamlessly.
What do lights mean on a Netgear router?
On my Netgear WNDR3700 I am getting messages such as "Lights" and "Power" when trying to configure the wireless.
Does this mean that the device is turned on? If so, why am I getting these messages? If not, what do the lights mean? What do they mean about turning the device on or off? I'm having the same issue. I can only get "Light" and "Status" lights to turn off. The "status" light changes from green to red and back to green (even when it should be green). The "light" lights just stay on.
Is there any way to stop the "lights" from turning on? It's been a pain to have them on all night. When you put your router in 'router setup' mode you should see the lights on the router going off. If it's not doing that then the only thing that is happening is that the web page is taking a while to load or sometimes doesn't even load.
The "lights" can have many meanings. For instance a blinking red light can be an error indication. Many different components within a router are monitored by the "lights". A small portion of those lights are just for general status reporting. Most of the lights are used to report specific errors.
There's no way to turn off the lights, and you can't turn off some of them. There are three groups of lights that are always on. They are the status lights, the configuration options and the access lights. Only the configuration lights can be turned off. These are the ones that control the web interface. The status lights will blink when there's a problem. The configuration lights are just there to indicate the router settings are changed. The access lights are the only ones that should be turned off. They give away that someone has either physically been into the router or logged in remotely.
I've had a similar experience when troubleshooting, as your first two sentences show. I'll explain how I dealt with this: I have a bunch of Netgear devices that are similar to yours. I was troubleshooting and needed to reset them. Since I have a ton of them, it took a while.
1) First, find out what's powering the device. For mine, I put the back cover on, and a light went on.
What is the WPS button on the C6230?
In the upper-right corner of the TV, there is a large circular button, but what does it do?
Answers. I have just bought this new TV a few days ago from TPL UK. The instruction manual tells you to press and hold the button to select different input sources. Pressing just one time will select "AV".
However, I can't find a similar button on my old Panasonic DMP-T3 - it only has AV. If the C6230 doesn't work as described in the instructions, will a manual reset do the same thing? Thank you so much for your help. The WPS button selects Input source (Video, Audio or A/V Combo). You don't need to press the button to switch between inputs.
Answering a couple more questions about the C6230 as well: Does the HDMI output include audio? Can it be set to output video or both? What types of media can be connected to the rear-panel ports? Would Netflix and/or Plex have to be enabled via WPS before the video passes through? Are front-panel ports available for VGA video or HDMI? Thanks! HDMI: Output sound (if it's available) in digital stereo format (with Dolby Digital, DTS-HD, DTS-MA, DTS-HD MA or PCM Stereo.) The resolution for all audio formats is up to 5.1 channel.
The rear-panel is equipped with only a single 3.5mm jack that provides standard audio outputs; HDMI/PC audio outputs are not included.
There are no front-panel ports that provide video or audio (inputs or outputs). If you plan on playing video or listen to high-quality stereo audio, you'll need to use the HDMI port (or other standard digital video connection), as all other connections would require additional cables.
The WPS button does the function for which you stated in your post (and not "resetting"): It's the key to enable your TV to work with your streaming box (Amazon Firestick or Chromecast) as an AV source (as in, it receives and transmits audio and video through the HDMI cable).
