How do I unblock an app on Google Drive?
If I accidentally add an app to the block list, how do I delete that?
If you accidentally added an app to your block list, or if you want to remove an app from your block list, follow these steps: Sign into your Drive account. You'll see apps that you can install on your Drive folders. Click to select one. You'll be shown the app's info and a button to install it, or cancel installation. Click Install button, the app will be installed. Click to select the app that you want to block. Click Block button. You will be shown the app's info, then given a button to unblock it, or change it. Click Unblock button, the app will be unblocked.
Block and unblock are two of the most powerful controls available to you in Google Drive. You may have been blocked from installing new apps, but now you can always view the apps you already have installed!
How do I enable app access on Google?
I have an app that is installed on android phone and I would like to enable "App access on Google" to give access to the app when it is being used. The documentation mentions enabling app access on Google.
How do I do this? Is it possible? This functionality is not available on Android as of now. But you can try this if you are willing to use some other Google APIs.
Google Play Services - A complete set of Google APIs for accessing Google services on Android. Android Services - Enable the functionality that you need to use in your application. For more information, you can visit the link below. Hope this helps!
How can I stop Google from blocking an app?
Google has the capability to block apps on its platform, but how can I stop Google from doing that?
I am not sure how many people are familiar with this, but I have a website built using Squarespace that was built several years ago. Some of the content is copyrighted and the app can display copyrighted images.
As per the Terms of Service and their ToS, Squarespace are allowed to restrict use of the app. It's not much of a problem as I can easily change the app title and description to remove the offending text. However the app continues to display copyrighted images, it's an app that hasn't been updated in years and we don't have the ability to do so ourselves.
I've emailed squarespace but they're very slow to respond, but I can tell you they won't be removing them anytime soon. The app works fine on desktop or mobile devices, so how can I disable the app? (preferably a free solution). The app uses the 'image' tag, but the image itself has no copyright watermark. The image is a background that can be displayed for any text.
I tried this - I removed the image's image tag from the code and changed all the image URLs to go directly to the image file. Still same problem, app is showing the image on our client's site despite the fact that it's not linked to. If it did, I think it would not work at all.
This seems like an issue with Google. We have an image that's not linked to, but it's not a problem. It would only be a problem if the image was linked to somewhere else and viewed.
If you would like to remove the content from any of the content from the app, you need to contact the developer. This would only be possible if your client owns the copyright to the image, and has given you permission to show it.
Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do on your side. It's just some client having a bit of a temper tantrum because of a bug, even though it doesn't actually break anything.
