What browser is like Aloha?
I have been using the Safari browser on my iMac for some time now, but I was just wondering if there is something similar to the Aloha that I can use on my iPhone. It would be even better if it was a native application.
I'm not sure if this is possible but I would like to know if anyone knows of a web based browser that has the functionality that the Aloha website does. For example I really enjoy the fact that on Aloha you can easily scroll around the page without having to refresh the page and all that jazz.
Is there a Safari App available that has similar functionality? If you have an iPhone, try iPhone Safari Web Browser. The app will allow you to use the desktop Safari web browser on your iPhone. A similar app for Android phones is called Dolphin Browser and works in the same way.
This is pretty much the only native app I've found that does this. Thanks for the suggestions. I do have an iPhone so I am going to give iPhone Safari a try. I just downloaded the application to my computer. I will also try to give Dolphin Browser a try. Thanks.

Is Aloha Browser free?
I just installed it and I'm really happy with it. However, when I'm using it, my computer gets very hot. I know that my laptop has a good cooling system, but why does Aloha Browser make my laptop so hot?
When I use Opera, it's not as hot. What can I do to make my computer run more smoothly? Are there any other alternatives for the browser on Mac OS X that I should consider? I don't care about the user interface as much as performance. Thank you. Aloha. I'm not sure if it is because of the OSX version of the browser or if it is just Aloha's fault. I don't have a problem with any other application that makes my computer hot. For instance, Chrome also makes my computer hot.
I think Aloha uses OpenGL as a rendering engine. This is a pretty new technology and there are a lot of drivers issues. I don't think it will help in your case.
I would have to disagree. I think it is because the OSX version of the browser.

Is Aloha browser safe to download?
After the latest update of Aloha Browser I tried to download a .exe file. After install it, the program is gone and it is still in my computer. I don't know if that is a good thing or bad thing. Does anybody know about that?
You must have been a little over-enthusiastic in the past and installed a virus with it. The program will probably get rid of itself after a while. There is no need to worry. There is an uninstall option on the Windows Installer file. The uninstallation process may take a couple of minutes but it should not take long. If you need more information just post back here.
I think I did that a few weeks ago, but I can't recall. Is it ok now that the uninstall is available? There are many different browser types, and many different versions. Each has its own set of features and bugs. But most browsers today are based on the same open-source base code that was developed for Firefox. So the basic concepts of browser development are pretty much the same among all the browsers. But some browsers are more buggy, others are more feature-rich.
The most widely-used web browser in the world is probably Internet Explorer (IE). It was the first browser to be widely used by companies and government agencies. This happened because it was the cheapest to license, and it worked well on Windows XP, which is what the vast majority of computers were running back then. But IE7 has a lot of problems in Linux and Unix, so Firefox is now the standard web browser for most people.
Firefox also works well on Windows XP. And it is fairly fast. But, Firefox has the disadvantage of being a "free" software. Free means that someone other than the owner of the browser company has to pay the salaries of the people who write the code for the browser. That may or may not be a problem, but it is one reason why many people prefer other browsers.
