How do you make Subpoints in Google Docs?
I am trying to figure out how to add another level of subdivision, in the same way as you would draw the shape of a letter in school (I may have gone off the beaten path, but this is for school :P). There is no help from any Google forums that I could find. Any ideas? I am using the newest version of Chrome, and on Windows.
I am trying to figure out how to add another level of subdivision, in the same way as you would draw the shape of a letter in school (I may have gone off the beaten path, but this is for school :P). What tool can I use to have the sub point like the picture attached? I made it with pen and pencil by hand. Google Docs doesn't seem to have that function.it's all built into the drawing tools. But as you can see in my response above, it's the same "tool" whether you're making an image, writing text, drawing shapes, drawing lines, etc. If it's done correctly, there's no difference.
Is there anyway to use G Draw (google docs) for all my work? Because I am not an artist. And I like to draw lines very easily and quick than other tools. And I like to save all my work at once and not after every line I drew. And Google Docs do not have that feature? Or can we use G Draw for making some basic pictures and then using G Docs to do more complicated work? I'm afraid there isn't much difference between drawing lines in a document and drawing lines on a paper. You are free to choose whatever tool you like. What I would be most curious about though is why you don't like Google's drawing program. Maybe we can help find you the most appropriate option.
Yes. It's just different when you start adding shapes.
How to do subsections in Google Docs?
I used to write my scientific papers and theses using a word processor, and there I use LaTeX as my main tool.
Now I found Google Docs, and it's great! But it seems there are no subsections in the built-in equation editor. Is there any way to write subsections? And if so, what format should I use? If you are using Apache OpenOffice then there is an online tutorial to create subsections. If you are just using the built-in equation editor (which may be referred to by default as 'Google Sheets') then I suggest you open up the built-in equations view in Google Sheets and then type in your sections as a table. Each set of cells will be a subsection. A table has the benefit of allowing you to have multiple columns as well as rows and rows can overlap.
