How can I put a border around text in Google Docs?
I'm trying to achieve something similar to how they've made it in the image above, but have no idea how.
Can anyone help me? As noted in your picture, there is no option to set the border of a row of text. However you can set the background and color of the text.
First in Google Drive: Click on the little three dot button "Add resource". Select "Style". Select "Text Styles". Click "Add style". Enter the name of the style (if you want multiple styles). Under "Foreground" select "Color". Choose a color. Under "Background" select "Shape". Choose a shape. Under "Layout" choose "Table". Click "OK". Open a new document, add the text you want to have the different colors and styles.
Is there a way to outline words in Google Docs?
I'm a writer and I've been using Google Docs to create a Word document from various Google Docs pages.
The problem is that when I've created the document in Word, I then need to format the text so that the words are indented more than a standard Word document. Is there any way that I can change the formatting of the text when it's in Google Docs without having to convert it into a .docx file first?
Google Docs currently does not have an option to create indents, but we're working on a solution.
