How do I sub in Orange County?

I'm looking for some tips or advise on how to sub in O.

C. I don't have time for the whole process, but any pointers would be awesome. I heard if you just have a few friends that might help you don't even need the ID (which is why I want to start small!).

Do you guys do classes/meet-ups? Is it a good place to get hooked up? Or are most girls not interested? Are there plenty of girls at SCA clubs/meet-ups that might want to do some fun stuff? I've taken a couple of classes there and they were very good. They have group dates with other groups from a larger region which is helpful. The biggest problem I had was having the wrong attitude. I was a lot more focused on what I wanted than getting the girl.

We owe it to our children and grandchildren to make sure our school districts and city councils understand that we need to cut spending not that we need more money. It is true that our society has never been healthier and wealthier than today. In the future, the same wealth and health could be enjoyed by our families as long as we reduce our excessive spending.

What if I took the CE for the A, B & C in July and did my substitute teaching in June? Will that work? My husband is a substitute teacher. His state requires a C, B, A, etc., so he has to take them all at one time and not be able to teach until it's complete. I know this because my job required me to have that when I took the C test.

Posted: Jul 25, 2025 12:35 pm. Thank you! I'm a little confused because a couple of years ago I did a TEFL course online and took a CE test for that and there was no state requirement to take an A, B, C or D-type test. It just states that the person must have a license to be a teacher.

That's not correct, the C does matter. For example I am taking my A, B and C at the same time in December. My instructor said that he would have to pay me for the C and then deduct it from my final pay. Then I would be left with the A and B to recoup the cost of the CE.

So what exactly is going on here? If they deduct the amount from your pay and give it back later, how can you recoup the cost of the CE? Can anyone help? I'm really confused. He is a student teacher and he does have a bachelor's degree but no master's or phd degree. I was just wondering is it ok to call him a regular teacher? I know that you need one either way but just checking. My son has asked why he wouldn't qualify as the principal or vice principal at his school which I find funny so I'm just trying to clarify.

Do you work in an area with a high population of students of color where the "whiteness" (white) of the population has been steadily decreasing as a proportion of the total student population? Would there be something to be said for keeping the word race out of a description? For instance, "black student" should stand on its own as a description, while "white student" might not. That distinction might depend on context.

We had a great white teacher once at my little private school that we only got to hear about for a few days before the school year ended. She quit because the children couldn't deal with her. The teacher of colors and the new boy teacher seemed like nice people, but my memories of the white teacher were very negative. If your son doesn't really care about race, then maybe he's just making sure that people aren't offended by him being called a white substitute.

So, in other words, you think this man does not deserve the title of substitute teacher? If so, why? And how would it appear if it was explained that the real reason he isn't qualified to be a substitute teacher is because he doesn't have the necessary qualifications? For example, his Bachelors was from some community college. Would you not just conclude that he is too uneducated to be a substitute? In other words, the title is misleading? So what would be a better term? It depends where in the U. You are. My school system hired this guy right out of school, and they are pretty liberal. They did make sure he went to school and graduated from college. I personally like the term "special education teacher" I think that fits.
