Does 1.1.1.1 make gaming faster?

I've only had a PC for about 2 years now and I really don't understand how the .

1.1 program works, nor do I know if it has any effect on performance. Does anyone know the answer? If it does work, is it the new version of the program or just something else?

Comments. A version 1.1 was released last week. It's in version 3 of the downloader and doesn't have any affect on downloading speed when done. In my experience, however, the more I use the program, the faster it seems to get. There is no effect on speed in my case. But, I really don't understand how it works either.

I'm not a computer guy and I'm using it mainly because it will save me time on my torrent downloads. But, as a user of Bittorrent I don't know how it works at all. So, I don't know how that would help with anything. Maybe I'll think about it some more.

The new version of uTorrent doesn't seem to be running faster than my old version. Maybe that's why I haven't noticed anything.

It was my assumption that since it was still using the "old" uTorrent, the version 1.1 didn't have much of an affect, but then I tried both versions yesterday and downloaded 4.5 gigs of music, and the speed was roughly the same.

So, maybe it's because I'm not running on a fast machine? Or maybe it's not all that noticeable because the files are already pretty large. I think it only really affects the initial download, and even then, it's very minimal. It used to be worse than that. The difference was not as great as it used to be, however.

Also, the .1 is not the new version. When it was first released, it was a beta and they wanted feedback on what the user's saw on different hardware (especially a laptop), so they made an installer available for those users.

We all have a favorite IP address, and so far it's the one we're on right now.

I find it hard to believe that I'm really going to be on a totally different IP than the last time I checked in and I get excited when I see my IP has changed. (This is why I don't like to check my IP on some of the older web sites.)

Let's take a look at the IP address history for one of our favorite sites. What we can see here is a very detailed list of addresses for the domain myweb.com that I have access to on this server. There are many things you can do with this data.

The first thing we can do with it is list out all the time our domain has been available. Here's the entire IP range history for the past 12 months: The second thing we can do is use the IP addresses for these dates to see who was on the site between midnight and 12pm. I've listed some samples below.

In the sample above, at 6:00am were getting hits from several ISPs. As you can see, some were hitting us from as far away as Singapore.

Of course, we can also use this information to analyze things like our top country of origin or top city origins. We'll get into this later on.

Finally, what I found really interesting about this data was the number of addresses per day. You can see some pretty nice numbers for the number of addresses per day, month and year. You can also see some interesting spikes in the address usage for some days. For example, July 1st has over 16 million hits on that day alone!

What we can see from that, however, is that the vast majority of the traffic didn't come on a single day. I thought that would be interesting. So we can use this data to figure out how well we're being used on any given day.

How Many Addresses Per Day? I wanted to look at how many addresses there were per day, month and year. The table below shows the results of my analysis.
