How do you enter GPS coordinates into Google Maps?

I am using a Mac and the keyboard is not working, so I was trying to enter them using the mouse.

The first problem I ran into was that the mouse cursor does not move with the mouse, so the coordinates were not lining up with where I wanted to go. I then tried entering the coordinates in the "Search by Location" section of Google Maps, but the location was incorrect.

When I finally entered the location coordinates manually, I was surprised that the location was not near my home. The location is almost 7 miles away from my home. ?
