When I first started using Firefox, it was the first browser I used.

It wasn't long before I found my old bookmarks and started using them. As time went on, I moved away from Firefox and now use other browsers. I still find myself using my bookmarks as a shortcut for things I've done in Firefox. The old bookmarks were created over a period of time and were organized in such a way that I could easily find them again when I needed them.

It's not uncommon to have older versions of Firefox bookmarks. When I first started using Firefox, I started with an older version. When I stopped using it, I just kept my bookmarks from that version. I'm not sure if the bookmarks from older versions are stored in a different location from the bookmarks in newer versions. What I do know is that I've bookmarked a lot of stuff that I want to save. If I lost my bookmarks, I would have a lot of trouble finding stuff again. So far, I've never lost my bookmarks.

My bookmarks are organized so that I can find them again if I need to. It's not too hard to find things on my computer when they're organized this way. Firefox has a lot of options for organizing your bookmarks. I've read about them in different places. But what I'm asking here is ? How far back does Firefox keep track of your bookmarks? Does it keep your bookmarks from the start? I'm also wondering how far back does it go when searching for stuff in your bookmarks.

Does Firefox save search history?

When I start Firefox (any version), it asks me if I want to remember the start page. If I say "yes", then it remembers the pages that I previously visited. But how does it get there?
I mean, when I visit a page, the address is something like this: "www.example.com/page1". When I return later to that page, it's just "www.com/page1" without the "page1". Does it check it for the first time ever on the second visit? Or does it somehow save the entire history from the first visit?

It's a matter of convenience. You can use about:config in the URL bar or via Ctrl-Shift-H.

To prevent history to be kept, disable the "remember the last 8 visited pages" setting in about:config.

How do I see history with time in Firefox?

Firefox is great, I use it on Windows, Linux and OS X.

I like how it's built in a way where I can browse the web without needing to worry about what kind of computer I'm on.

However, one thing I'd like to see is a way to go back in time. For example, if I'm reading something, and I want to read it again later, I can just go back to it later. For example, on the Wikipedia homepage you can click on the "Read it later" link at the bottom, and it will save the page and then you can go back to it later to read it.

I'd like to see that in Firefox. Ideally, I'd like to be able to go back in time in the address bar.

It could be that function has not yet been added to the browser. But I don't believe so.

On a side note: I like the idea of the history for the web, and while I can do this with some third party add-ons, I would rather have it built into the browser. On a side note: Also, I know that in Firefox it's not possible to go back in time in the address bar. However, I think that is because there are more websites that are just plain text. I'm not sure how much I agree with that. I'd rather have the option for other types of websites.

It is possible to go back in time in the address bar with a plugin called Time Shift.

How to see full Firefox history?

Firefox was my favorite browser for the longest time and it is still my second browser.

I used it because I found Opera more limited than Safari.e. I have no idea what Safari is good for or what people use it for nowadays. However, I still have a very small amount of experience with other browsers since I am only getting interested in browsers. And since I am interested in browsers, I started looking into Firefox history to see how good it is and whether it's worth my time to learn it. But so far I have not been able to do this.

I want to have a clean and tidy history, which includes clearing cookies that expire, emptying the downloads, resetting the cache, cleaning the private data, cleaning the cache and deleting the cookies. It looks like the only available way of getting to a completely empty history by visiting mozillians.org and entering Unfortunately, there are several problems.

It opens in a new tab, not in another window. It takes a second before showing up, but after that it seems it won't open even after a restart.

The main thing I want is to have a clear and tidy history. I don't care if it is as clean as the page I am on. I only need history.

Since the browser is built to be used on a desktop it seems like there aren't any real advantages to it. You're asking it to do very different things than a typical browser.

If you must have an "empty history" type of experience then you're likely going to have to resort to something like VB-Macro or a simple script: Start a second browser window, clear history, delete all cookies and caches and then close the original. A combination of that and a shortcut that opens the second browser on a new tab can get you a quick reset. I'm not positive of the proper way to set up the browser or the shortcut, it's just what works for me.

For the most part if your browser of choice is built to be on a desk top then just use it normally. That being said there are two instances where having clean browser history makes sense: If you've moved to multiple work places or multiple devices.
