How do I add history to Firefox?

What is the Firefox improved history extension?

There are some changes that will be noticeable when you upgrade from the current Firefox improved history to the new history, and I will introduce the changes to you below.

First of all, all the information from the improved history are displayed in a tree view. You can switch the view to a list view using View menu. You can also add the improved history page to your homescreen with an applet. And the improved history has various features added, such as saving the bookmark lists, search history, and so on. You can try the improved history at

Add-on management. The improved history addon manager is much easier to manage. You can install and remove extensions easily and there is no more problem to restart Firefox for the changes.

For example, if you have multiple extensions installed, you can see them and install the desired one using the improved history addon manager. Improved History extension. The following are some examples of the features included in the improved history. Search History. This feature searches the last history pages viewed in Firefox. You can quickly find a web page you have already visited.

The new improved history addon provides the search history functionality, which is the search function available in the previous improved history. For example, in the following screenshot, faster is searched. You can configure the search history in Firefox settings (about:config). This will be discussed later.

Bookmark Lists. You can create bookmark lists and add bookmark lists as a group. When you click on the group, the browser shows the list of bookmarks and you can bookmark the pages by selecting Add Bookmark. If you are not sure what you should add as a bookmark, you can select Bookmark All.

Search and Bookmark Lists. If you want to find a specific webpage that you have already visited in the past, you can use the search and bookmark lists. The search and bookmark lists are saved as a new bookmark list called Saved Searches and Saved Bookmarks, respectively.

How do I retrieve browsing history in Firefox?

I want to know if there is a way of doing this.

Like a feature in Firefox. How do I get some type of list of which websites I have viewed on the PC and how.

Is there an addon that can give me this information? If no, How would I go about writing a simple application in c# to do it. Or maybe I can get this information from windows/IE Go to Tools > Addons. Search for "History" - it'll find your plugin - click install. If you want history that you already visited, Tools > Addons > History will show them. There is no way to retrieve information directly like that. You'd have to store them yourself. But since you'd probably be doing the same thing many times in different situations, there are ways to automate it.

Your application can store information locally and sync it via any of several means (eg ftp, ssh, local disk etc.) using the built-in web APIs or a third-party package like WebDAV.

What is the Firefox addon clean history?

Clean history is designed to automatically remove all of your visited websites that have a negative impact on your browsing experience.

How does the addon work? After launch you are prompted to install. The addon will then scan your Internet Explorer temporary and auto history to make sure you have no negative sites for you to clean. If it finds that there is something to clean, you will be prompted to clean the history. The addon is fairly smart, if you type an address in your browser, after the webpage loads, a few second later a yellow popup will show you some sites that could affect your browsing experience. After clicking the blue icon at the top, this is where the addon has been spending most of its time.

It also scans your Bookmarks list for sites that could harm your browsing experience. The popup can sometimes be a bit obtrusive with the pop up of pages with no clear way to close it as well as not displaying well while browsing.

There are 2 other tabs besides the Firefox profile tab. One is a search box called the search bar which allows you to type in a site and only keep the result. The other is the favorites tab which takes a copy of all of your favorite sites and moves it to a section under the bookmarks section. You can add sites to this tab by dragging the top right icon of the toolbar, but it would be nice to be able to search this list or create your own section of your favorites.

The settings tab displays the current settings. This is where the profile information for the addon is saved, what data it has cleaned and where there are options to tweak this.

Options. Options is where the addon keeps its information about where to look for new websites you visit, how long it will wait before cleaning a site, your account preferences and where to put the log file. The location of the log file used to determine if the profile settings are changed. If it is not changing this then they need to be changed, but if they are changing this folder it can determine what settings are being set as well as how long it will look for changes.

Default Settings. Once you have installed the addon, if you haven't gone into profile settings, it will automatically open the options tab. You will also be shown what the addon is looking for. These settings are currently setup to default to every site.
