New ad blocker for Google Chrome: What's new. AdGuard is still available to Chrome users as a manual download, but there is now an extension for that browser as well. Our latest extension was published on GitHub () on March 16, 2024. You can download it now. The extension does exactly what AdGuard is capable of doing it makes it possible for you to block or allow ads on websites based on certain criteria. The current version of the extension only blocks non-intrusive ads, but we will add an option to keep ads in the future.
AdGuard for Google Chrome provides its own user interface. AdGuard for Chrome uses a Chrome UI, where you won't find the usual button labels and icons. You will have to understand how the blocks work before you can use the app. Nevertheless, you will find a very intuitive system, where you can block or allow websites as quickly and efficiently as possible. The blocks are divided into categories: you can block ads, block tracking cookies, allow ads, and allow cookies. If you block ads on a site, you will still see the ads on that page because it is part of the website.
Why is AdGuard DNS not working?
DNS not working in the sense that you are unable to resolve any of your custom domain names in the Internet?
For instance, you do not see the domain name that you have created on this site (example.com)?
Unfortunately, you are experiencing a DNS problem and have no choice but to buy a new AdGuard DNS. AdGuard DNS will help you to resolve all your issues with the DNS service that you are using now. You can find more information about AdGuard DNS in the following table:
We also recommend installing the Google Chrome browser extension: The extension allows you to test the DNS speed without making changes to the settings, and will let you use a free unlimited and trusted DNS. Please note that the Google Chrome search bar must be switched off or disabled to make sure that no fake IP addresses will be added to the results.
As an alternative to AdGuard DNS, we recommend using the free Wigle DNS. Wigle DNS is an independent provider that has been trusted by millions of users for almost ten years. Using the free Wigle DNS, you can not only test the speed of DNS resolution but also see how long it takes to update a DNS record to the name server that you are connected to and to find the list of nameservers with a given domain name.
For instructions how to install the extension in the Google Chrome browser, please take a look here: If all of the above will not help you to resolve your DNS issues then it's time for you to contact your Internet service provider. Do you know a way to prevent someone from doing this? I'm trying to block an account I'd like to avoid spam, but it keeps popping up as "Not verified" regardless of what I change. How would one go about getting around this? I've tried changing the ip to a different static ip from our ISP, but I have not managed to get it to work on my connection (it's cable internet). Does anyone have any other suggestions?
