What is the app that talks about companies anonymously?
This app, called Hushmail, is pretty good at what it does.
Here's what the website says: Is it secure? Truly anonymous emailanyone can use your service. Why Hushmail? We believe the Internet should be a safe place for personal information. Your private email has never been easier or more secure. No tracking of users. We do not keep a record of who sends or receives messages. Your email is encrypted. We don't track you.

To use the service you have to create a password and register an account. Once you register you have unlimited storage of your messages and files, that can be accessed with your password.
The advantage of this type of service is that it doesn't track what you send, so it's anonymous. In case of troubles, you can choose to delete the data and register again from scratch. You can read more about their terms of use.
Can companies find out who posted on Blind?
Are there any other places to post comments where the company cannot see who posted on it? I'm not referring to the "Post Your Story" on the wall of every company, but any place a customer would go to post a comment that the company could read No one has ever been able to see who posted something on a community board/wall. But you can make an effort to find out who the person posting is by finding their contact info from their profile. It's not a guarantee, but you might be able to determine their name. You'll need to contact them through that system for verification.
Yes. I always use my first and last name on our boards. It's no guarantee, but we have had several times when someone tried to impersonate me and were able to catch the fraud. If you're using a screen name, then it's much harder.
I think I've seen a site recently that posts your comment anonymously. You still need to verify it's you and I don't think you get to see who the poster was. But, I'm not really sure about that. It's been awhile since I've looked at it.
If you are trying to comment on a site such as Blind it will show you which users are moderating that post and the user names can be found by clicking the little cog next to their name. You can click on the users names and see their full user profile. That information is usually private.
I just checked in on our board and it looks like we have Anonymous posting enabled. I can't remember if there is a way to see who is posting from that perspective though. (I am thinking I don't want to know. ;) )
Our boards are setup so that comments can be anonymous or verified. I believe it's based on your user name and email. For example, if you don't have an email, you can provide one when commenting. Or if you have your phone number listed as an email, you can use that to validate it. Either way, it's a verified account and the person posting it is required to provide a real email address or phone number to use for verification.
Just be sure to give your real email address. It's common to just use your profile name.
