In your NortonLifeLock account, you may be invited to complete an online survey to evaluate the service and help improve it. You will also have the option of answering calls from Norton employees, who may have questions about the product.

Do I have to install the app? You do not need to install NortonLifeLock to use the website. Just go to nltokens.com to begin your login process.

Can I keep my NortonLifeLock registration number if I change my device? Yes. If you keep the code, you can change your phone number or email address. For more information, see Change Your Registration Number.

How do I pay for another year of service after I purchased the product? NortonLifeLock is available for purchase per year, so just buy your product before the expiration date of the current subscription. If your current subscription expires after purchase, you can simply log in and renew. The current subscription does not expire when you upgrade to a different package or if you select an additional phone number. If your current subscription is expiring, you will receive an e-mail alerting you to this at the time.

What's the difference between LifeLock and NortonLifeLock?

There is very little difference between the two.

LifeLock was formerly known as NortonLifeLock was the second company in the LifeLock Corporation. However, the name LifeLock was used to differentiate the new business and its products from those of Norton Inc. (including their old product Norton Antivirus) when the sale and merger was finalized.

Now there are two business units within LifeLock called LifeLock Corp. And NortonLifeLock. So the new LifeLock has been renamed again. That's the only real difference.

LifeLock Corp vs NortonLifeLock. Norton LifeLock provides consumer cybersecurity services for individuals, home computers, and small to medium-sized business. They offer security software and online monitoring and protection services for consumers, business users, and personal users of home computers, smartphones, tablets, and other portable digital devices. Does NortonLifeLock have an app?

It's just that when you visit a page where there is a
Virus in the form of a popup, its 'Norton LifeLock Anti-Virus and Safety.

Center.' Its not something you can do on its own.

My Norton life lock subscription expired about 2 years ago. I've not found another antivirus on the market that works as well. I just hope they don't start pushing their paid for online protection to their users.

I recently came across a page that requested that all browser add-ons must be disabled. It was an older page. So it looks like they are trying to push the need for these types of add-ons away. I wonder why they haven't done this before now.

This happens frequently - even on new websites. You're logged into your account with Norton as you're browsing the internet and boom, you suddenly notice a notification that warns your computer is infected.

Now you have to remove or disable all your browsers add-ons and the anti-virus from within Norton (if you don't have the paid version.) Once this is done, reboot the computer.

You'll get a message in the notification that says your are no longer protected because you don't use the add-ons anymore. That said, when you go back online, you suddenly have another infection again. As it does so you are prompted again for a virus and you have to repeat the same sequence again. A few minutes later and you'll see a window telling you that 'your computer is infected.'

The fact that people don't realize this is a security issue is pretty scary and also seems to come with a sense of betrayal since you know the anti-virus company has been warning you of possible attacks and now that you had decided to enable those additional safety features on their pages in order to stay online, they now want to make you do things so you feel the same way about them, which is kind of odd. The worst of all though, Norton is known to put those warnings in there for the express purpose of scaring the crap out of you so that they can charge you more for their paid versions of programs such as Norton AntiVirus (NAV). We tried to do a test with a different add-on.
