PIA VPN Review. What is PIA VPN? PIA VPN is a Virtual Private Network app that works on all your devices including your Android Smartphone, iPhone and iPod Touch, as well as your computer and even your Xbox 360! How do I use PIA VPN? When you install PIA VPN on your device, it will install an extra software that will allow you to connect to any other PIA VPN service in the world and be able to use it. You simply log in with your username and password on any PIA VPN website to access all of the VPN services in the world.
How do I cancel PIA VPN? You cancel PIA VPN anytime by simply going to the help menu and clicking cancel. Once you close the help menu, you will no longer have PIA VPN access and it will no longer be available to your device.
Why PIA VPN? One of the most important things to note about PIA VPN is that it does not store any of your information on your device. When you are connected to a different PIA VPN service in the world, all of your traffic will be encrypted and forwarded through a secure connection. Because PIA VPN does not save any of your information on your device, you do not have to worry about your privacy being invaded.
Another reason that you may want to use PIA VPN is that it is free. When you have a lot of connections going on at the same time, your data usage can quickly add up. PIA VPN can actually save you a lot of money and keep your data usage low. You may also want to use PIA VPN because it allows you to be connected to any of the PIA VPN locations around the world. When you are connected to one of those PIA VPN locations, you will be able to use all of the PIA VPN services in the world without having to pay a monthly fee.
How do I turn off PIA?
When I try, I get a message saying there was a problem with this page.
What do I do if the site won't turn off? There was a problem with this page. I can see that I am connected to a site using SSL, but I am not sure how to turn off PIWhy am I receiving messages about pages I've already seen? You are receiving messages about pages you have already seen because you have visited the site before and your previous visit has been saved by your browser. If you do not want to be reminded of pages you have already visited, please clear your browser's cookie file.
Can I delete all cookies for my browser and start over? The first time I visited the website, I had to allow cookies for this page. If I try to navigate to a different site now, will I need to do that again? Your browser has a feature called "remembering". This lets you view a website without ever having to allow cookies. However, you should know that when you delete cookies, your "remembering" feature may not work as well.
If PIA is on, it's probably because a particular web site is sending a cookie to your computer. To disable cookies, open your browser's Options or Preferences menu. You'll find a box called "Accept cookies only from sites I visit" and a drop down menu to select a period of time.
Note that if you click "Show Cookies" in your browser, you'll also be able to view each site's cookies. Also, as an alternative, you can go to your browser's Options or Preferences menu and turn off all cookies. If you want to use your browser to make purchases at www.pcworld.com, you'll need to remove the cookies for this domain.
I've tried disabling PIA, but it hasn't helped.
Am i protected with PIA VPN?
Answering in the affirmative would probably mean that I am protected with a Virtual Private Network (VPN). The question is: can I be charged for use of an "IP" service provider who actually provides me no IP address? Can I be charged for use of an "IP" service provider who actually provides me no IP address? Yes, and no. If you were using PIA VPN then you could be charged for it, since it costs money to provide that service. As per the TOS it would say something like:
We'll bill you for data usage over the Internet if you use our service. This means that when you're browsing or using applications that require Internet access or access to a web service, we'll charge you for the data transfers.
However, if you were using a "free" service like freeDNS that does not charge for data usage, then you should not be charged. The only reason that you might be charged would be if you were misusing their service.
