What is considered the best romance movie of all time?

What is the 1 most romantic movie?

of all time?

I know the movie "Titanic" came out in 1997 and it won best picture. But the most romantic scene of all time was in "Titanic" right? (The one with the 2 star boats. You know what I'm talking about.) So which one is the 1 most romantic movie of all time? I would like a serious answer.

(If you're wondering why the title says "most romantic scene" it's because this is the question I posted on ask.fm for this site. Someone answered that the most romantic scene was in "Titanic." So I said, "OK what else is romantic in that movie? There's gotta be something else!" It's a pretty good question. I think the most romantic movie of all time is actually "My Best Friend's Wedding". But that's only because I've watched it over 400 times.)

(Also this is not a movie review. I just want to talk about movies that are romantic and there's not really a list on the web that does that.)

I love how some people think that you can't be romantic and also intelligent. You can't be the two together. It just isn't possible.

If it were I'd be bored out of my mind. I disagree. For example, the TV show "How I Met Your Mother" is one of the most romantic shows ever, because it's filled with many characters that are smart and witty and hilarious, and those people are very romantic. Also, "How I Met Your Mother" is great because it's very well-written. The characters are funny, witty, and really endearing. And it really makes you laugh at a lot of funny scenes. And I think that's great. It's really romantic.

Oh no, it's not possible to be both smart and romantic at the same time. That's why we need a website that talks about these two things, to balance them out.

(There's no other reason.) Yeah, there's no other reason. People like to believe that you can't be smart and romantic at the same time. They don't even think that you can be romantic and funny. They don't even think that you can be funny and romantic at the same time. It's not possible. You can't do that.

What is a good movie for a first date?

I think it should cover the broad spectrum and include a romantic element that leads to romance.

I'm not saying it can't also make you laugh, because a movie is about sharing an experience together and laughing together is part of that. Of course, the best way to find out is to find out from a reliable source. Ask a guy who you've met before, ask a friend who has had a similar experience. You might be surprised by the answer.

You could do worse than a date with the guy who was best man at your wedding. It was almost six years ago now. We were in Rome, walking the Via Veneto and stopping for a coffee at Il Palazzo del Sale, one of those wonderful Italian bars that is open all night and serves great food too. I had just arrived in Rome for a week and he was due back to the US. It seemed a shame that we would be meeting up again soon after our last encounter and although we only got as far as that coffee I am certain that our relationship was destined to come to fruition and lead us to the altar. I know I'm biased but I think the only reason he waited over 6 years to ask me to be his girlfriend was because of what I told him in that coffee shop and because I told him that if I didn't want to be with him he'd never bother asking me again. And, he never did. So I guess that was my revenge. Of course I never really meant what I said, just because you say something doesn't mean it's going to happen, but I made him go away again and have no regrets. Because when you know someone for some time and they really do mean what they say, you realise they are worth waiting for.

So many times I tell myself that I don't need a ring to be married to this wonderful man, I don't need a ring to be married to him. All I need is his love and he gives me so much in return. But of course I will always remember those 6 years of separation and miss him but I was so lucky to have had that time apart to get to know him and appreciate him even more.
