What size dough ball for Ooni pizza?
Most pizza is made with a very thin (1-2 mm) crust and small sauce. This means that it's not much thicker than the dough and when you slice it, you end up cutting a nice thin slice.
It's easy to get two pieces that are about the same size or that have similar weight and volume by hand. So no, you can't measure the volume of the pizza. There isn't much room in the center of the crust to add a lot of sauce.
For a large pizza you need a thicker crust, which makes it much heavier. A normal "large" pizza will be around 80-85 g per square meter (g/m2). To make sure your dough is not undercooked, you need to bake it at least for around 15 minutes. You'll have the same amount of the dough that you do now if you bake it 10 minutes longer, but the weight of the crust will be increased so much that the total weight will be much higher. In the end, you'll get more than three times the original size.
If you want a larger pizza, don't increase the dough size. Add more sauce and/or cheese.

How much pizza dough for a 12 inch pizza?
I don't know if this is the right place to ask this question but I am in need of some advice.
I recently got an electric pizza oven for my birthday, its 12 inch pizza can be cooked in around 20 minutes. I have never made pizza before and I am worried about the dough because I have never worked with it before. I am assuming I should need to buy more than 1 batch of dough for 12 inch pizza? So I need to figure out how much dough for a 12 inch pizza.
Toppings I have decided to use would be pepperoni, sausage, ham, turkey bacon, and cheese. You could use any topping combination you want. This just means you will have to cook more than one pizza if you have more than one topping. It depends on the size of your pizza.
As long as you have the amount of dough to make a dozen or less, that's all you need. But if you have a whole bunch of dough that you want to freeze, you can just split up the dough and freeze half of it. The other half you could freeze until you need it for your next pizza.
"If you find yourself reaching for that box of chocolates, chances are you are hungry." I was thinking a 13x13 pan would be a good size, as it should give you the maximum surface area for the toppings. If you're using a normal-sized pizza cutter, that will cut through the crust, so I wouldn't use it. If you use a round cutter, like an inverted ice cream scooper, then you'll have to make the pizza rounds a bit thicker. You could always cheat and use the cutter to cut 2 pieces of dough at a time.
12 inches is kind of a funny size. It seems to be a rather unusual size for a pizza that I've seen before, and from what I recall the pizzas tend to be rather small. Personally I'd make a 14 inch pizza, just to avoid cutting and serving multiple pieces at once.
If you're going to go for the full thickness, you should probably invest in a pizza cutter for sure. Invert the cutter and make a shallow round cut, as a standard pizza cutter has a very narrow edge. Make sure the dough isn't sticky at all, or you'll end up with big clumps of dough stuck to the cutter.
